The hallway was quiet except for the soft thumps that came from the King's footsteps.

Suddenly loud and fast running echoed through the hallway from the messenger boy looking for the King.

A body slammed into another body as the boy ran into the King.

"Woah, steady!" The King held the messenger's shoulders. "What's wrong?" The King was confused because the messenger had a look of panic on his face.

"M-my King, it's F-Falcon!" He shuttered.

The King frowned. "Yara? What did she do?".

"S-she almost k-killed Dex."

"Boy. Spit it out. What did she do?"

"S-she challenged Dex for his title. I must get the docter! He's in a critical condition."

The King gritted his jaw.

"Run along," he ordered the boy before making his way towards the training fields.

The soldiers were standing in a circle around two bodies. One was lying unconscious and the other was too exhausted to stand up.

Yara had a cut above her eye, and some more on her legs and one stab in the stomach. She was loosing blood fast but her body was used to it. Closing her eyes she exhaled in a harsh wince. When she opened her eyes, gray ones were looking back. She rolled her eyes.

The King.

She rolled over to to lie on her back, letting her arm fall back beside her.

"That was a stupid thing to do. Fighting while you were still healing from the last fight." The king shook his head.

She forced out a fake laugh. "I don't care about your opinion."

The king glared at her. "You almost killed my warrior."

"Ex-warrior."

Dimitri huffed before holding his hand out for her to take. "Come, you need stitches."

Yara narrowed her eyes. "No I don't."

"Take my bloody hand, Yara."

Earning a glare from her, he helped her up.

"You're a handful, you know that right?"

Yara sighed. She wasn't in the mood for snarky comments and nodding got up to make her way towards the doctor for stitches and treatment.
