8 days went by.
Dimitri was walking around the training grounds, observing the training of the soldiers. Again, it was cloudy, showing that rain will soon come.

A boy known as the youngest among the soldiers was training in the corner, alone. The King watched how his moves were sloppy, the aim off point. Before he could make a move to help him, somebody beat him to it. Yara.

With confident strides she approached the boy, startling him. Shoving the sword out of the boy's hand, she handed him two daggers. The boy was confused.

"Falcon, wha..- what am I suppose to do with these..?"

"Use them."

"I-I don't know how.." He looked down embarrassed.

She rose a brow. "How will you know if you haven't even tried?"

"O-oh.." He clenched the daggers before shooting forward. The soldiers were trained to not hesitate, but immediately attack. Yara moved to the left, dodging the daggers, before grabbing the boy's arm, stopping his movements.

"Your attack moves are too predictable. Your face showed emotion. Fear. Hesitation. Embarrassment. Never show emotion. Never give the opponent a second chance. And never hesitate. It could cost you your life. Your body structure is too heavy for a sword. Use daggers, its effective and fast. Good, now try again."

After a while, the boy's moves were much better. Dimitri was impressed with the boy's improvement.

"Yara."

Yara looked up, startled by the King's voice. Dimitri motioned towards the door. "I need to have a word with you."

She sighed and nodded.

Soon both were in the King's study room.
Dimitri informed Yara about the arrival of the King from across the ocean, making her aware to inform and train the soldiers, in case of an attack.

Dimirti was expecting King Rafael anytime now, as it was already 8 days later. He opened his mouth to dismiss Yara, when a loud knock sounded from the door, a muffled voice following.

"My King, your presence is urgently required in the throne room. King Rafael has arrived."

Dimitri turned to Yara. "Send Dex to get the soldiers ready. You're coming with me." He began walking but stopped, turning around. "Or wait, get a maid to fetch you a dress. Then when we meet with King Rafael, don't say anything, especially about you being my warrior."

Yara norrowed her eyes in annoyance.
"Embarrassed to have a women as your warrior?" She challenged him.

The King gritted his teeth. "Respect." He turned around. "And no, it's to protect you." With that he turned and made his way to the door.

Yara glared at the King's retreating form. "I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself." But the door already closed.

Scoffing she made her way to the door and followed the King.
