Chapter 3~

"Breaking Out!"

Jessicas POV

I woke up chained to a wall. I was in prison. Great! This isn't even my fault, its all Terra's fault, she had to go and side with Slade! She's selfish and I hate her.. I hate my sister with all my heart.

Beast boy walked holding a tray of food and a big smile on his face. "What are you smiling at!" I asked trying to free my hands.

"Nothing." he answered sitting across from me. He stuffed a spoon of food in my mouth making me blush. I felt uncomfortable, being in here with my arms chained above my head, I felt vulnerable... and I hated feeling vulnerable. He smiled at me and stuffed another spoon of food in my mouth.

"Why am I in here?" I asked.

Bb sighed. "You're a threat."

"To who? I'm just some ugly nobody without my cape." I scoffed messing with my nose to fix my glasses. BB pushed my glassed up for me smiling.

"Your not ugly, just different." he smiled at me.

"Easy for you to say your green but everyone loves you." I scoffed.

"Not everyone.." BB sighed.

"It was Terra wasn't it?" I blurted out frowning.

He looked at me suspiciously. "How do you know about Terra!" his voice cracked. I stood up and flexed my wrists, avoiding eye contact with him. Beast Boy stood up, his face seemed more annoyed now and he repeated his question sticking his face in mine. I gulped sweat running down my face. Having his face so close to mine made me nervous. 

"Uh uh...." I didn't know how to reply, I didn't want to tell him I was related to her.

"No no you'll hate me." I replied moving my face away from his.

"More then I already do now?" He glared at me. I sank back down the wall and hid my face in my knees.

"Leave me alone..." I said quietly.

"Not until you tell me!" his voice raising slightly, and his eyes starring down at me.

"Shes my sister..." I uttered quietly hugging my knees. "Now leave!" I said angrily. He looked at me, his eyes widened and mouth cracked open.

"Even someone who's not a human wont understand how hated and how much of a out cast I am." I whispered. Beast Boy paused briefly, then continued his way out. 

I analyzed the room running my eyes from one corner of the room to the next, searching for some way to break the chains on my wrists. I spotted a rusted and half bent metal bar, it seemed to be coming loose from the rest of the cell. I inched over slowly, trying to elongate myself as much as I could, I tried to hook my foot around the pipe and pull it towards me, but to avail. I just couldn't give up though, I had to get out. 

Someone had to get me out. I started analyzing the room once more, but I was interrupted by a strong force pushing me forward. It left me with a loud ringing in my ears my vision hazy. 

A mumbled voice from a shadowy figure called my name, "Jessi-, Jessica! Jess.." I felt someone grip my arm and hold me up as a struggled to regain my ground.

"Abbie?" I whispered in surprise as my vision slowly cleared. "What are you doing!?"

"Breaking you out!" she yelled grabbing my wrist and pulling me through the hole she had created without warning. I found myself plummeting to the ground while fading in and out of consciousness, I panicked trying to quickly react, but the effects of the explosion were still greatly affecting me.
