Chapter 7

"Wake up."

Jessicas POV

Me and Beast Boy came back up stairs and something felt.... different. On the couch Terra was sitting next to Abbie, she was in her old clothing instead of those school clothes. When she saw Beast Boy she ran up to him and hugged him. I could feel my blood boiling as they embraced but Abbie put her hand on my shoulder cooling me down. Which was ironic considering what she could do.

They finally pulled apart and smiled at each other. To make matters worse the rest of the team walked in, I didn't want to have to explain myself to more people with the way I was feeling; I don't even think they would trust anything I say.

 When everyone saw me they took fighting stances, however Beast boy stepped in front of my to prevent them from trying to attack. 

"Its okay guys we can trust her." Beast boy said smiling at me.

"What if shes just like Terra?" Robin asked.

"Terra's right here, safe and good, thanks to Jessica." Beast boy said firmly. Star fire and Cyborg quickly approached Terra and barraged her with questions. However Raven and Robin continued to star, and slowly approached me. 

Robin placed a "warm" hand on my shoulder, but with the way he was looking at me, I could tell it was more for intimidation purposes. "How'd u save her?"

"I cast a strong recovery spell." I answered.

Raven starred at me with great suspicion and I responded with an awkward smile. I don't know if she had tried it, but I'm sure she had... was something wrong?

"Nice thinking." Raven replied dully and hugged her book tightly. 

"All right Jessica!" Cyborg said fist bumping me.

Robin starred at me as if he was trying to read my mind, making me shift uncomfortably. "You're welcome to stay here if you need too," were the last words I was expecting to come from his mouth.

I took his hand and smiled, trying to hide my fear of what he was thinking, "thanks!" 

"Jessica I'm really sorry. . . thanks for helping me remember," Terra said quietly, sticking out her hand. I starred at her hand then back up at her; what she did I couldn't forgive easily. Not only that but despite the terrible, terrible things she's done she still holds Beast boy's heart. I keep trying to keep myself from getting in the way but I can't... I can't support her and Beast Boy. After all she's done to me, to them. I only need her for one thing, and after she has served her purpose. . . she will no longer be necessary to keep around. 

My eyes drifted back to her hand and I took it in my hand, resisting the urge to crush it. "Of course Terra, you've always meant so much to me, I had to get you back."

2 months later....

"You guys are so cheating!" BB whined to me and Abbie.

"I thought you guys said you've never played video games before!" Cyborg complained.

"Don't bother us about playing then whine when we kick your butt!" Abbie laughed. I nodded briefly, but I was concentrated on killing Beast Boy.

"No way!" BB yelled throwing his controller to the ground as the TV boomed, "Player died!" 

Beast boy stood in front of me and shook his hips, "can't win if ya can't see." 

"Move out of the way cheater!" I yelled moving my head so I could see the TV. Beast boy got in front of me again and shook his finger at me before tackling me on the couch, grabbing for my controller. I frantically tried to push him off but in my struggle he managed to knock my controller out of my hand. To prevent me from getting the controller Beast Boy grabbed my wrists and pinned me to the couch. 

"Now it's an even game," he said grinning at me mischievously. 

I softly shifted my hips as my lower part started to feel. . . uncomfortable, but Beast Boy's legs tightened around my hips as he playfully shook his head at me. I needed someone to get me out of this position as soon as possible. 

"Winner!" The TV boomed and a picture of Beast Boy's and Cyborg's characters appeared on the screen. I moaned in defeat and let my head fall onto the couch. 

"Another round!" BB said and climbed off of me grabbing my controller. 

"Sorry BB I gotta go recharge." Cyborg said then got up and walked away. Beast Boy moaned again and flopped onto the couch. My much need peace was interrupted by music coming from the kitchen. Abbie, Terra, Robin, and Star-fire were dancing, BB pulled me up and started dancing with me, despite how I resisted. He spun me around and felt another person grab my hands and pull me towards them. 

"So Jessica where are you from?" Robin asked nonchalantly.

"Underwater." I answered.

His eyes grew, "Does that mean Abbie-"

"Was born in fire, yes." I laughed at Robin's silly reaction. Before I could stop laughing Robin slid his hands around my waist as a new song started to play. 

"So you plan on staying long?" he asked smiling.

"Yeah you guys are great!" I chirped. My smile faded as my eyes landed on a fuming Tamaranian.

"Maybe you should dance with Star." I said lifting his hands off me and Star came along happily taking my place. Abbie had left to her room with Raven leaving me alone. I didn't want to watch Bb and Terra slow dance so I went outside to the beach after changing.

It was a nice sunny day for the calm beach. "Race you in!" I heard Abbie yell running past me.

"Wait up." Raven said sarcastically stopping next to me. Even she was wearing a 2 piece. I hugged myself, I could never pull of a 2 piece, I wasn't comfortable enough with my body yet. I was hoping for some alone time but I guess that's hard to get in Teen Titan's home. 

"Jessica!" Abbie yelled from the water waving at me. Slowly every one else joined us for a swim. . . except Beast Boy and Terra. 

"I have to get a towel!" I quickly said, running back up stairs, I couldn't leave them alone together. Once I made it up to the main floor, I felt my heart sink into my stomach. 

"Eek!" I yelled accidentally, tripping and falling forward. They pulled apart and BB ran over to help me up.

"You okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine! I don't need your help!" I snapped yanking my arm from his hand. After I let go a sharp pain shot through my leg and I fell over again this time tears in my eyes.

"Let me help!" Beast boy snapped back and picked me up, taking me to the couch, "I'll get you some help."
