Chapter 4

Chapter 4~

Terra.

Beast Boys POV

"Incoming!" Raven yelled thrusting out her arms. Outside the window, caught in a force field, were Jessica and some other girl. Raven pulled her arms back towards her body pulling the two girls back into the tower.

Jessica glared at the group with a heavy scowl while her friend looked in awe.

"I cant believe I tried breaking you free from the Teen Titans and almost got away!" she yelled.

"We are getting away!" Jessica laughed

"Hate to break it to you.." Robin smirked.

"Hate to break what? Hate to admit you fell for the oldest trick in the book?" Jessica laughed as a part of her cheek moved away from her body quickly, but then moved back into place. Robin groaned in anger then ordered us out.

"Beast Boy stay here!" Robin ordered me then they all left. 

"Why do I have to stay?" I yelled back.

"In case they come back!" 

 I flung myself onto the couch and turned on the TV after picking my controller up. I heard someone giggle and another whisper, freezing me in place.  I turned around and found Jessica and that other girl. Jessica was quietly yelling at her but stopped when they saw me.

"So this is the guy you have a crush on?" the girl began uncontrollably laughing. 

"C-crush?" I mumbled, feeling my cheeks heat up. 

"Shut up your hurting his feelings and you got us caught!" Jessica now loudly yelled, her cheeks bright red too.

"Alright alright! What are we going to do about him anyways?" the girl asked.

"Nothing." Jessica answered pushing her along.

"Hey wait a minute!" I yelled running after them. "I cant just let you go!"

"Beast Boy please we are just trying to prove my innocence!" Jessica begged. The expression on her face expressed her fear, but I wasn't sure if I could trust it. 

"Ill help you but you have to tell me everything you know about Terra." I said nervously, I just hope the titans don't find out.

"I don't want to get you involved. " Jessica replied.

"I'm already involved." I said walking up to her. There was a flash of anger in her eyes at first but she calmed down and nodded.

"Jessica!" The girl whined.

Jessicas POV

"Abbie its okay... I think we can trust him." I said eyeing him. "Lets make this fast I don't have much time."  We made our way into the main computer room and sat down.

"She was my best friend... we did everything together, but after she found out she had powers it was like I wasn't good enough anymore. One day me and her got into a fight and she ran away. A few days later I went after her and tracted her location here but by the time I got here she was with you guys. I got her alone one day so we could talk and....."

Flash back*

I had made a disguise for myself and hid in the shadows. No one needed to know I existed. I was glad I had left... the only thing left back home was being bullied everyday. I shook my head and heard someone stumble and fall. Terra. I slowly moved downwards landing in front of her. Her eyes began to glow as if she was ready to battle.

"Relax. Its me." I said taking off my hoodie. Her stance didn't change though, instead she chucked a rock at me.

"I don't need you anymore. Go back home." she growled. I wearily stood up, cautious not to make any sudden movements that would make her feel threatened. 

"Look Terra I'm sorry but you have to understand I was just trying to help because I care!" I said putting up my hands.

"No one cares... no one understands... only Slade understands. He's the only one who hasn't shut me out!" she yelled.

"But the Titans-" In that moment I knew I had a made a mistake, without thinking I stepped forward and motioned with my hands. This set her off and before I realized it, a rock was hurtling at me.

"Slade told me everything... they're so fake. They only want to hurt me!" she growled lifting up a rock. I was too weak to move but I tried anyway.

"Then why haven't they hurt you yet?" I yelled, shielding my face with my arms waiting for impact. For a split second her face lightened up but quickly returned to a growl.

"Your no better then the rest of them!" she yelled then threw another rock. One too big for me to dodge.  

Blackness.

*End of Flashback*

I looked at Beast Boy who seemed hurt. "You're lying..." he croaked, covering his ears.

 "Look at where Terra's got herself! You really think we are Lying? You've seen what Terra's done first hand, you just don't want to accept that this is who she is now!" Abbie yelled loudly.

I put up my hand. "He obviously needs proof." I said then stood up. I picked my shirt up about half way revealing a scar, it happened not so long ago so it still kinda hurt. I didn't like showing off my scar, but it was the only way to get him to believe us, and I needed him on my side. His cold hands softly grazed along the outline of the scar. I held my breath trying no to react, but without realizing it I had let out a small whine. 

"Sorry." Beast Boy whisper, his hand sliding off my back. I fixed my shirt and looked him straight in the eyes, trying to rid of the embarrassment I was feeling. 

"Believe me now?" I asked. He nodded silently then moved towards the computer and began typing.

"What do you need help with?" he asked quietly.

"Find Terra."
