"Gray, just be a savage!" I yell at my brother from the water. "I jumped! Live life man!"
Grayson grabbed the rope and hesitated before he swung himself into the water. Once he came out of the bottom of the ocean for air, he gave me a high five.
"That was so high, bro." He told me, whipping his wet hair as we swam to shore.
We spent our day at the beach. We were taking a break from the internet and school because they were both getting too stressful to handle.
The pressure was definetely there but Gray decided to take the day off and go to our favourite place; the beach. It was the hottest day of the winter and we just wanted a good swim, regardless of how cold it was.
"E, let's go get some fro-yo." Grayson suggested next to me, sitting in the passenger's seat. "I'm starving."
I payed attention to the road infront of me as I thought about what he said.
"Dude, it's getting cold. Let's make a bonfire and make s'mores instead." I said, taking a left turn into the grocery store.
He gave out an annoyed sigh, rubbing his eyes together. "I just want some ice cream." He said aggressively.
I pull up into a parking space and turn off the car. "Why're you being so braty lately?" I asked him, looking at his face.
He looked at his feet, feeling guilty. "I don't know man. I just miss traveling." He said looking back at me.
We just ended our world tour and Gray has been down ever since. He loved being loved and wanted the hugs of our fans.
I held his shoulder, comforting the love he missed.
"I guess... we could pick up some ice cream." I said, looking at my hands before looking back at him.
A smile appeared on his face as he pulled me into a hug.
Shocked at his movements, I laughed. "Dude, relax. It's just ice cream." I said, still amused.
He didn't say anything. He just hugged me tighter.
"You can let me go now, Gray." I said, trying to free myself.
I may be older, but he was definitely bigger and stronger than me.
"Can we just stay like this for a while?" He asked, his voice thick.
Was he crying?
"Yo Gray." I said, pulling away, his eyes glossy. "Why're you being so emotional lately?" I asked, wiping his tear with my thumb.
"N-Nothing." He said, giving me a sad smile before looking the other way.
"I guess we can hug for a while, but mom's gonna freak if we're not home soon. So bring it in." I said, opening my arms out for him.
I hated seeing my favourite person upset. He was my little brother. I have to protect him.
He gave me a genuine smile before bringing me into a hug.
And I hug him back with double the amount of love.

"The fire sucks man." He told me, sitting on his lawn chair, covered in his hoodie and a blanket.
I pointed the fire poker at him. "Hey! For your information, I am actually trying to make a fire instead of eating all of the damn ice cream." I said sarcastically.
He gave out a chuckle, scooping his spoon into the chocolate ice cream and pointing it in my direction for me to eat.
"Sorry?" He asked, the spoon still pointed at me.
