I sighed as I stepped into the graveyard, closing the creaking gate behind me.
Lennon is hours away from giving birth to our first child and my anxiety levels have been through the roof.
I gave my brother a hug and later sat down on the spring grass in front of him.
"Hey buddy." I greeted him, giving a small wave. I paused as I saw an orange butterfly land on the gravestone.
I gave a smile at the beautiful creation.
"I don't know if you've been watching me from heaven, but Lennon is about to give birth." I sighed into my hands. "I don't know how to be a dad, heck I don't even know how to be a husband." I gave out my feelings as I played with my necklace with his earring on it.
It always calmed me down.
The butterfly flew towards me and landed on my shoulder. I closed my eyes as the warm wind blew against me.
You'll be fine, E. You're a good brother and a great husband to Lennon.
I hear Grayson's voice against my ear as I open up my eyes to see him standing next to his gravestone; except, it's not 29 year old Grayson, i'm staring at a 17 year old Grayson.
He was wearing the same clothes that he wore the day he passed.
My voice becomes thick and my eyes start to water as I get up from my sitting position. Once i'm in front of him, he puts his hand on my shoulder.
It was very warm.
"I don't even know if i'm a good husband, how am I gonna be a good father?" I asked him, my anxiety flowing through my veins. "I asked dad but he gave me general answers and none of the parenting books are helping and I just feel like a fail-"
"You're not a failure, Ethan." He cut me off, bringing me into a hug. "You were the best big brother any twin could ask for." He said calmly into my ear as he brushed my hair.
"I-I just want you to be here with m-me." I cried into his shoulder. "I want you to be the best uncle and my guidance when somet-thing goes wrong." I begin to sob.
He didn't say anything, he just held me closer.
"I am here, Ethan. I never left." He cooed as he pulled away to face me, bringing my chin up so that i'm looking into his eyes. "I'm not here physically, but i'm here. I'll help you I promise."
"But h-how do I know you're here? You're dead, Grayson."
He wiped a tear from my cheek as he held my hands with care. "I'll pop up in your dreams to help you. Whenever you see a butterfly, that will show you that i'm there. I never left, E; and I never will."
"I miss you, Grayson." I chocked out as more tears flew down my face.
"I miss you too, E." He said sadly. "Trust me, heaven is boring without my best friend."
I gave out a chuckle as he laughed as well. When it died down, I looked back at him.
"Now, go see your wife. She's about to give birth in two hours." He said with a smile.
"Wait, how do you...?" I asked, trailing my words as he starts to walk backwards.
"I'm always watching, E. I know how dope your life is gonna be." He smirked as he walked further away. "I love you, Ethan."
I open my eyes to find myself sitting in front of the gravestone, my body cold from the lack of warmth.
I looked down at my wrist to see the butterfly tattoo with the words 'I love you' written in cursive underneath it that my friend Romeo gave me the year my brother passed.
"I love you too, Grayson." I said before getting up to drive myself to the hospital.

"Common Lennon, almost there." The doctor told my wife as she pushed our baby.
I'm not going to lie, this is some explicit shit that i'm witnessing right now. I can't imagine what Lennon is going through.
She gave out a scream as she squeezed my hand tighter.
"Lennon, darling, the circulation to my hand is nonexistent." I inform her as I whelp in pain.
She let go of my hand to give me the finger before she grabbed it again and pushed harder.
After a minute of screaming and numbness in my hand, I heard a baby cry.
"Congratulations Mrs and Mr Dolan, it's a boy!" The doctor announced as he held my son in his arms.
He gave me my child as I looked at him with awe.
"Holy crap," I said, looking back at my tired wife. "We made this."
She gave out a tired laugh. "Yes we did, babe." She said as I gave her the baby.
"Oh, he looks just like you, E." She cooed as she touched his cheek before looking up at me. "What should we call him?"
I looked at my son for a while. I helped make him and he looks like me. I never had anyone look like me other than Grayson.
Wait.
I smirked as I looked down at my wrist and then at my beautiful wife.
"I have a name."
