The War Has Stopped But...

Walter suddenly stopped and whipped around. He scanned the group with narrow eyes. "Okay...Where's Erik and Lia?"

"Huh?" Arian looked behind her and realized that they were no where to be found. She placed a hand on her hip and searched the hall, but they had suddenly disappeared.

Alex sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Oh boy..."

"Oh wait!" Xaden pointed down the hall toward Roxanne's room. Two figures came out with their hands full of diamonds. The two of them, Lia and Erik, came running down the hall with large grins on their faces.

"What do you think you are doing?!" Walter demanded as they stared at the diamonds.

Lia giggled and held some up. "This was from Roxy's room!" She exclaimed. "We saw something shiny so we walked inside! Her room is SO cool!"

Erik nodded in agreement. "Yup! My room was cool to, but hers had diamonds. You know, we should sell them and make a profit!"

Alex, who was extremely annoyed, walked over to them and bobbed their heads. They both dropped the diamonds and held their heads in pain. "You idiots!" Alex yelled. "We are trying to stop a war and you two are going around taking diamonds! We'll have time to raid their stuff after we defeat the leader okay?!"

Arian smacked her hand over her mouth and began to laugh. Xaden ended up falling on the floor when Lia and Erik exchanged hungry glances to each other.

"Okay Teach!" Lia said with a grin.

Alex jerked his head. "Come on. I don't think we're too far from the top. Let's hurry."

Finally they started to go, (Lia and Erik quickly stuffing the diamonds in their pockets before leaving,) and they ran up the stairs. Walter still had Roxanne clutched tight in his arms and made sure that she didn't fall or hit anything. Along the way they had to either knock unconscious, or kill some red soldiers. (But they didn't kill unless necessary. Even if they did, Alex held Roxanne as Walter did the slaying.) And they also managed to find the room where their weapons were at.

Eventually, they reached the top. They burst open the door and entered the room. Xaden recognized it immediately, remembering that this was the room that that bird dropped him in.

Lia pointed over to the six pods. "What are those for?"

"For you, my dear."

The group got out their weapons as a man with purple hair and red armor came from the shadows. He stood in front of the large window, facing them. Walter backed away toward the back of the group so he could protect Roxanne.

"Hey! Vaclav!" Xaden called out. "I know you!"

Vaclav had his hands behind his back. His stare seem to be burning right through them, and was looking into their souls. Arian shivered and turned away, but kept her arrow pointed at him. "Of course you know me." Vaclav creepily said. He gave Arian a pervert smile and continued to speak, "And also-"

Arian huffed and suddenly shot the arrow at him. Vaclav took his sword from it's sheathe and held it to his face and blocked the arrow. It fell to the ground and Vaclav glared at her. "You will most certainly regret that!"

"Erik and Walter!" Alex called as Arian, Lia, and Xaden began to attack Vaclav. "Stay behind and protect Roxanne!"

"Got it!" The two boys said at the same time when they saw a few Red Soldiers rush into the room. Walter got out his sword as Erik got out his spear.
