"Damara. Babe. Wake up." Roman says pushing her hair out of her face. She looked so beautiful. Like a sleeping beauty. Roman smiled and kissed her lips and this woke her up. She kissed him back and yanked him down to the bed with her. He laughed when she wrapped her arms around his neck and began to kiss it. "I would really love to start a round two but we have a problem we need to fix," Roman says and she growled out in angry. "That bitch is gonna die for what she did to you," Roman promised her and she smiled.
Roman got out of bed and held his hand out for her. She took it and stood up. She was wearing his shirt and she was so short it worked for her. It was like a dress. He smiled and pulled her to him and kissed her before she had to get dressed.
Then he let her go and got dressed with her. Roman gave her a shirt and she wore her jeans again. It looked good on her. She smiled as she brushed her hair out and saw Roman watching her. "That's creepy," Mara says and Roman scoffed.
"It's romantic." She rolled her eyes and looked down at stomach. Something felt strange. She placed her hand on her stomach and felt for something anything. But they were only seven weeks in. Damara closed her eyes and Roman watched. She snapped them open and was shocked. "What?" He asked and she turned around slowly.
"He's still alive. I felt his heartbeat." She smiled and Roman almost dropped to his knees but he didn't until he was near her. Then slowly he placed his head on her stomach. He wanted to hear it and in this case, he could. Roman heard not one but two heartbeats. Beating at two different times.
"Holy shit." He says out loud making Mara laugh. "Holy shit. I'm going to be a dad still." He lifted her up in the air and she screamed and laughed. Shelley had heard screaming and quickly ran to the room. She opened the door to see Roman actually smiling brightly. Damara saw Shelley and she smiled.
"Hey, Shells." Roman looked at his sister and placed Mara on the ground carefully. He ran to Shelley and hugged her. Shelley was shocked. What was going on? "How do you feel about being an Aunt?" She asks and Shelley smiled and squealed. She quickly walked over to Mara and hugged her gently.
Then Shelley pulled away and pulled her phone up. "When did you find out?" She asks and Mara looked at Roman who looked happy.
"Just a few days ago. We thought the baby wasn't going to make it but he's fine now." Mara says and Shelley smiled but then she remembered. Shelley's smile was gone and she typed. "Another killing happened." She says and Mara was shocked. Roman grabbed his coat and Maras.
"Alright. We'll be right back. I have to see if Peter is okay." Damara says and Shelley nods her head. Mara smiled at her. "Be careful please." Shelley nods again and Roman pulled Damara out of the room. Damara looked at Shelley with a knowing look. A look that told them both they were going to be alright. Mara, Peter, and Roman were going to end this.
When they made it to the church Mara quickly got out. Roman and Mara walked into the church to see Peter was sleeping in the bathtub. "Oh thank god," Mara says softly and Roman looked at her. She walked over to Peter and kicked the tub. He woke up and looked at her.
"Damn. I thought you were a red-headed beauty." He says smirking. Mara rolled her eyes at him. "What?" He asks sitting up.
"Another person died," Roman says and Mara looked down at him. "It wasn't Letha. We made sure she was okay before we got here. It was the wrong moon though. That's impossible right?" Roman asked worriedly.
"Actually." The boys looked at her. "A werewolf can change without a full moon, but-"
"But what Mara?" Peter asks and Damara sighed.
"It's painful. It rips them apart and not just there bodies. Their minds as well. That girl is messed up, to begin with, and she needs to die now." Roman looked at her.
