Damara yelled at her brother when she reached home. Her mother had to throw her out of the house because her powers were ready to be used. "Come back when you feel drained." Her mother kissed her head and walked off.

Peter sighed and watched as his twin left the trailer to the woods. She had to get the power out. Soon the full moon was coming as well. So Damara had it worse than Peter. She was a hybrid. Two powers fighting for dominance to cancel the other out.

"Fuck," Damara whispered as she leaned against the tree. Her hand began to release little vines. She wasn't ready for the pain that came to her head and heart.

She gripped the tree and it began to grow black flowers on it. Damara had dark magic. Magic that shouldn't be used at all. But she kept it locked in so much that it was killing her if she didn't.

So here she was in the middle of the field where the Godfrey's live. She fell on the grassy ground and gripped the grass in her hands. Her body was now feeling hot and her chest had a slight blue glow to it. She groaned out as her powers begged to exit her body. But a tree began to grow from her magic.

This happens when Damara holds her powers in. It began to build and if not used, it will explode. She was born with a defect. Most witches can go without using their powers for about a few years. But Damara was cursed. She doesn't know how it happened but it did. Maybe another witch saw what she was and made her different. Whatever it was. She was raised this was and she had to deal with it.

Peter had to watch her closely so he stayed behind a little ways watching his twin in horror. He hated the fact she was in pain. When they were eight Peter wanted to help her but she shot him with her magic and he flew back.

Damara sat up after a little while and looked up to see a willow tree. Her energy was drained horribly. She couldn't even get up. So Peter came over and lifted her off the ground. Taking her inside he placed her on her bed and closed the door behind him.

Peter saw his mother on the couch with an upset look. "She's getting stronger every time." She felt her eyes begin to sting. Peter sat down in front of her and took her hands in his.

"We can help her. She won't die on us. She can't." He pushed back the hair from his mother's face and kissed her head. "Why don't you get to bed. We have school in the morning and you need to find a job." He says and His mother stood up.

She went into her room and shut the door behind her. Peter sighed and sat on the couch. He knew his sister was getting more unstable. But he couldn't lose her. He had to talk to Destiny and soon. Otherwise if he waited any longer. She would be gone.

Damara felt drained still. At school, it was a slow morning. Her brother dragged her everywhere. Roman had watched her and was worried she was beginning to look a bit pale. She looked sick.

"Holt!" Peter says loudly making Damara glare at him. She looked up and saw Romans sister. She smiled when Peter took the toilet paper off her shoes. "Cool." Peter was a bit uncomfortable looking up at her.

"You going to the dance?" Damara asks and she shook her head with a smile. "Guess there isn't any point in going then if my girl isn't gonna be there." She smiled up at her. Shelley smiled but someone pushed Peter over knocking his stuff down. The boys laughed but stopped when they saw Damara glaring. She tied their shoelaces together with her magic and they fell making everyone laugh at them.
