Damara heard the call from Peter saying that Letha was having her baby. So when she heard that she quickly got dressed and looked in the mirror. Her stomach had been sticking out more and she smiled. Soon she could have an ultrasound. Lynda smiled as her daughter got ready to leave.
"Be safe. I don't want my future grandchild to be hurt." Lynda says and Damara smiled. She kissed her mother goodbye and picked up her coat. Then she heard a honk.
"Bye, mama." She left and walked up one step and before she could get to the second one Roman and picked her up off her feet. She laughed throwing her head back as he carried her to the car and laid her in the back of it.
"Alight, baby mama. You better hold on tight." Peter says smirking and Damara buckled up. Roman had glared at Peter for even suggesting that she should hold on tight. He wasn't going to let Peter put his woman and baby in danger.
"Let's go! We have a baby to see!" She yelled and Roman chuckled as Peter looked like a kid on Christmas day. Roman felt Damara's hand reach over his shoulder and he took her hand. He placed a soft kiss on her hand and she smiled at him. "So, is this how it's gonna be with me? Everyone is gonna go nuts?" She asked and the boys chuckled.
"Nope. Since you are my girlfriend you deserve a whole crowd to cheer on for you." Roman smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"You better not." She muttered and Peter laughed. He looked at the White Tower and smiled.
"Let's get going!" Peter says getting out quickly. Roman opened the door for Damara and she smiled brightly at him. He held his hand out for her and she took it. Mara looked up at Roman and just stared. He was confused as to why.
"I love you. So much." She says softly and Roman smiled down at her. He pushed the stray hair away from her face and kissed her. Peter was too excited for what was happening. It was a wolf thing. The wolves mate giving birth was amazing. You felt a rush that just went over you like a wave. Like you won something in this world. Damara and Roman followed him inside and they were lead to the waiting room.
They stayed in there for hours. Damara and Roman were cuddled up on the chair telling one another sweet things. Mara looked down at her stomach and she smiled. But the smile was gone when she felt something was off. Peter shot of the couch and looked down the hall where the screaming of painful birth should be happening. "What?" Roman asked the twins as they stared down the halls.
Damara's eyes filled with tears as she felt Peters mate just...die. Mara looked at Roman as the alarm went off. "This is an Omega emergency." Peter looked down the hall, hoping, no actually praying, she was okay. Mara stood up and took Romans hand as they made there way down the hall. She was crying still and then the system says, "The patient is dead." This crushed Peter. He fell to the ground and screamed out. Damara ran to his side feeling his pain. It was a twin thing. It was a wolf thing. When a wolf mate dies the whole pack can feel the pain
Damara hugged him as he cried and screamed out. Roman was denying it as he shook his head. It couldn't be true. This couldn't be happening. Why would an angel make a baby and then kill the both of them!? Damara was pissed off and the lights in the room began to flicker off and on. The tables and chairs began to hover in the air. Peter knew he was making her feel this way so he had to stop crying. It was hard as hell but she was hurting.
Roman fell to the ground with them and they all cried their hearts out. They lost a friend, a loved one, a family member. Damara launched herself into Romans' arms and cried. She just let out everything she had. everything she had been keeping in it was just all gone. This wasn't good for the baby at all. Peter did what he thought was best. "Take her out of here. Please." Peter asked Roman and he nods his head.
