To say I was surprised by Braden's sudden affection would be an understatement.
Despite the sudden action I responded, but not in a hot, hair pulling, breathe mingling, back breaking make out session. It was much simpler, no tongue, no heavy groping. Just a peck.
"Damn, I had that whole moment played out in my head for months and no sparks. I didn't feel a thing and I really fucking like you. What a shame," Braden said after he pulled away.
I laughed at his comment. Honestly I had never liked Braden more than a friend but he certainly was attractive.
Mason looked pissed and Cassandra amused. She had placed a hand on Mase's shoulder in what looks like an attempt to restrain him.
"That was fun," Cass smiled.
"Hey sorry, didn't mean to ignore you, but that whole romantic moment took a lot of courage and I would of lost it if I talked to either of you before hand," Braden stated then pulled Cassy into a hug.
Mason finally snapped out of his funk and participated in those weird hand shake hug things boys do.
All was well in girl world for that moment. And when we brought Braden to my house and the others saw him, girl world was still at peace.
When the doorbell rang and Alex opened the door, that's when girl world went on a downward spiral straight to hell.
"Masey!" a high pitched voice squealed.
Followed by Alex yelling, "bitch I told you, you couldn't come in!"
From where I was standing I couldn't see who had came in because Mason was blocking my vision to the door. But when an arm slinked it's way across his waist and that fake nose came into view, I had no doubt who it was.
My eyes narrowed at the piece of plastic that had found it's way inside my house. She smirked when she saw my face, which I'm sure wasn't a pretty one at the moment.
"Hey there Amber, still as fugly as ever," she smirked after greeting everyone else.
"Hi bitch face. Nice tan, what race are you? Carrot?"
Not my best comeback, but I was in an angry state and all I could see was red.
"Always a joy to be around you," she spat.
"Oh Erica, out their someone is thinking about how much they love you and what impact you've made on their life. It's not me, I think your an idiot. But I'm sure someone out there inside, deep, deep, deep down. I'm thinking reproductive organ deep, likes you for whatever it is you've got."
She growled, "did you just call me a slut?"
"I may of hinted at it, yes."
"I don't appreciate your sarcasm," she muttered.
I smiled sweetly,"sorry honey, but sarcasm pours out of my mouth like stupid comes out of yours."
"Alright knock it off you two," Mason spat.
"No please continue, I was very entertained by Amber owning Erica's ass," Cass smiled.
Mason angrily told Erica to leave the room and turned to the rest of us.
"I understand none of you like her but she is our friends sister, and I happen to like being her friend. So shut up and deal with it!" he seethed.
"Honestly I don't like my sister, be rude all you want for all I care," Braden added.
I gave Mason an I told you so face and he flipped me his middle finger. "I don't appreciate your rudeness!" I yelled as he went to go find bitch face.
