once gaten put all of his stuff in my guest room, he asked where my parents were.

"oh, they're just out on a trip for work." i said.

"what? for how long?" gaten asked with a look of confusion.

"well, they've been gone for a week now. they won't be home until like next month." i replied.

"they LEAVE YOU HOME ALONE?"
gaten said somewhat loudly.

i just laughed it off and started playing with my hair.

"...yeah. people come and check up on me though"

"do you make your own food?"

i just laughed at him.

"sometimes, but i-i rarely eat. im never hungry." i respond.

i tried to sound confident.

but i failed.

gaten rolls his eyes.

"don't tell me you're one of those girls who are afraid to gain anything."

"w-what? no. of course not. i weigh 100 pounds thank you very much!"

gaten obviously isn't buying any of it.

gaten starts going into the bathroom and he stays in there until he finds something.

i roll my eyes playfully.

"i'm not standing on that, gaten."

"why not? you gotta prove you weigh 100 pounds."

i just sigh and say, "okay."

i mentally pray i weigh 100 pounds.

i don't want gaten to find out of my eating disorder.

he will think of me as a freak.
