"today's her BIRTHDAY?!" jack exclaimed fearfully.

finn walked out of his room roaming his fingers through his tangled hair.

"yeah. that's the main reason she is acting like this, she wanted us to realize her and notice it's her birthday but instead i've been all caught up in showing off and impressing her to even remember her important day." finn said.

finn flopped onto the couch with his elbows on his knees and his hands covering his face.

everyone stayed still for a moment.

then the unthinkable happened.

finn began to cry.

"wo- oh, uh..." caleb began, obviously confused.

jaeden quickly rushed to finn's side, hating seeing finn like this.

"shh... shh... let it out. it's okay." jaeden whispered softly, yet comfortingly.

(mom!jaeden everyone!)

"i-i'm such an a-assho-hole. i-if i ju-just remem-membered her birthday, sh-she wouldn't be li-like th-this." finn hiccuped from crying.

"no, don't blame yourself. we all forgot. it's all our fault. we're assholes too." sophia said.

"fuck the losers club, we're the assholes club." wyatt said.

everyone laughed softly at that remark, and the mood soon lightened a little.

jaeden then stood up.

"we need to find y/n. we need to apologize profusely and spoil her until she forgives us." jaeden said.

wyatt looked at jaeden with pure admiration.
