A loud alarm blared through the speakers of the ship, Allura's voice following:
"Everybody up, Zarkon's attacking!"
"The castle's about to be destroyed!"
"Go! Go! Go!"
"Hurry! We can't survive much longer!"
Everyone apart from a certain egotistic flirtatious male made their way to the main room.
Coran looked over to the five,
"Oh, time!" He shouted.
"I... guess this isn't an actual attack?" Shiro questioned.
"And it's a good thing it wasn't because it took you far too long. You must always be ready to do battle with Zarkon." Allura said.
She paused before continuing.
"Look at you, only Shiro is in uniform, Pidge, Keith, Hunk, where are your bayards? Lance isn't even here and Y/n is falling asleep on spot!" She scolded.
The other four glanced at you and saw you indeed falling asleep while standing as you were swaying with your eyes closed.
"Y/n!" Allura exclaimed, you snapped your eyes open and looked around before apologizing.
"Are you okay?" Shiro asked as he and the others noticed your exhausted expression.
You nodded, "Yeah, just a shit sleep is all..."
Then Lance walked in the room still wearing his pajamas as well as a bath robe and slippers while sipping on a drink relaxed.
"Good morning everybody, what's going on?"
"We had to test the alarms and decided to test you as well." Allura answered. "Guess which one failed." She glared.
She then went on to explain what Zarkon had done and what he will do while showing the hologram of space around them.
"Coran and I are getting the castle ready to leave Arus, during that time you have to form voltron so we can begin fighting Zarkon."
"The Princess is right," you began as you turned to the five boys,
"Get to your lions and start training"
The guys got changed - as did you - and went to their lions and met outside and began trying to form voltron... which failed miserably.
Allura sighed watching them from the control room with you and Coran.
You noticed she was observing you as well but you decided not to press because it probably wasn't a big deal.
You returned your attention to the paladins outside and their putrid attempts at forming voltron,
Keith thought it was a good idea to literally build it my stacking the lions on top of each other.
You were trying really hard not to laugh as you watched and listened to Shiro speak.
"Feel the bonds with your lions, now channel your energy into forming voltron..."
They paused for a moment and this time you didn't bother holding anything in, forgetting they could hear you.
"Pfft- BAHAHAHA!"
The boys - startled - lost their focus.
"Come on Y/n, seriously?" Shiro said.
"Okay okay I'm sorry I'm doneahAHA!" You said failing at controlling your laughter.
"Alright Y/n we get it..." Keith sighed embarrassed.
"Sorry, it's just... 'channel your energy' and all..." You said trying not to laugh again.
