Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been updating, I sort of lost my inspiration for a little bit during the summer. And then school started, and well that wasn't good. I figured you guys deserved an explanation and here it is.
This was meant to be completed over the course of a summer. Because I didn't have much to do this summer I figured I could do it. But then I started slacking. So now it's gotten to the point where I haven't gotten halfway through the book and school has started.
And my school isn't rainbows and daisies.
It's known as "the best school in the city" and therefore the curriculum is strict, advanced, and we get a ton of homework. And I also live on the other side of the city (yay!!!) so it's at least an hour commute.
I get home from school around 4-ish on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. And then I get home around 5 on Wednesdays and Fridays. Not to mention we have a policy about 2 tests/4 quizzes per day being the limit. And when you have a rule like that, you know you're screwed.
So yeah, when I get home, I'm starving, I'm cranky and I have a lot of things I need to do (homework) which if I did it without stopping would only take 2-4 hours. But I take breaks because I need them.
And then I have to drown out the screaming going around me.
Because just as my school isn't rainbows and daisies, my personal life isn't either. I'm not going to explain, because I'm sure you all can guess.
So basically I get to bed around 11 or 12, and I have to get up at 6. Then repeat with everything I just described crammed into each other. So basically, I've lost my passion for this book.
There's still a spark for it, a match that tries to hold it's own against the darkness, but is slowly fading. I love writing but with my schedule and life, I can barely fit this in.
I know this sounds like a really terrible excuse for not writing, but it's the truth. I'm really sorry, all of you. This A/N ended up more like a rant, and you guys need to know I'm not giving up, but updates will be slow if not terrible.
Again, I'm so sorry. To all of you who support me, even if you're just a ghost reader (not hating you here, I am too a lot of the time), the fact that you even take time to read this, makes me love you all so much. So thank you.
