Cheating?

Chance's POV

Tessa and I have been dating a month now. I want to celebrate our anniversary and make it a big, big, BIG deal. Tessa is the one I know that. We're just not ready, but I know we will be soon.

So later today I'm meeting up with her best friend Jessica, from dance. I need this to be perfect. I have it all planned out, I just need the final touches. 

"Hey, Tessa!" I call

"Yeah? What's up?" 

"I'm going out with a few of my friends okay?" I lie, hoping she doesn't find out what's actually going to happen. 

She hesitates. Uh Oh. 

"Um... sure" she replies slowly.

I give her a smile and head out the door. I can hear her whisper to herself, "What is he up too?"

I cringe. I hope she doesn't think I'm meeting up with a girl...

Tessa's POV

Chance just told me he's going out with his friends. But honestly, I don't believe it. It's our anniversary for one month tomorrow. I'm really excited but I feel the excitement slowly draining out of me. I'm really skeptical so I call Jessica, my best, best, best friend from dance. I ask her for some advice. 

*ring*

*ring*

*ring* 

Where is she? Right, when I'm about to hang up she picks up. 

"Hey Tessa do you need anything?" she says as if she's in a rush.

"Um no... I just need to talk to you. Are you busy? I can call you back later."

There's a moment of silence. Then I hear some whispering. It sounds like a boy...I listen. It sounds like....Chance!

I hang up in tears. How could both of my best friends do this to me? My boyfriend hooking up with my girlfriend. They met each other once but how did they get each other's numbers???There's no one to comfort me. No Chance, no Erika, no Jake, no one. Team 10's all at a party.

Why does this happen to me? 

Chance's POV

I'm at Jessica's house planning the party when she gets a call. She looks at me and mouths Tessa. I tell her to answer it but not to tell her I'm here. She answers and Tessa seems to be really sad. I wonder what's going on... Tessa asks to talk to Jessica about something and Jessica looks at me with wide eyes. I whisper to her to tell Tessa that she's busy. But all of a sudden I hear a gasp and 

*Click*

*This call has been ended*

I can't believe it. Tessa knows I'm at Jessica's and she thinks I'm cheating. Jessica is thinking the same thing. I jump up and rush out of her apartment and yell to Jessica that she should call me. I hop into my car and drive to the Team 10 house. 

I'm so stupid. I should've just told Tessa.

I sigh, hoping she will believe me when I explain.
