Speechless

Chance's POV

Looking at the love of my life laying there so motionless with so many wires connected to her killed me. Every beep I heard broke my heart again and again. I couldn't hold back my emotions. While I sobbed as quietly as I could everyone just stood behind me shocked.

Erika's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. My best friend. Lying in a hospital bed. Motionless. No words.

Jake's POV

My little sister is in a hospital bed. My brother is crying his heart out. What is happening?

Anthony's POV

This has to be a dream. The whole room is silent. All you can hear is Chance's muffled cries and Tessa's monitor beeping.

Tessa's POV

I can't see anything. Why is it so black? Who is crying? Oh my god. It's Chance.

*5 hours later* 

Erika's POV

It is 1 A.M. in the morning. Everyone left besides me, Jake, Anthony, and Chance. Chance is holding Tessa's hand. He is still crying, at this moment it seems like it's not ever going to stop. 

Jake's POV

I couldn't take it anymore. Chance is STILL crying. I know this is going to sound really rude but I needed him to stop. He had to be a man.  

"Chance STOP! Be a man for Tessa!" The moment I said Tessa's name Chance looked at me with anger and hurt in his eyes. 

"Well, I'm SO sorry for loving her and for caring for her. I'll just leave then. Is that what you want?

I was speechless.

"Chance stay with me." a small voice said

We both whirled around to a tired looking Tessa.

Chance immediately rushed to Tessa's side. "Are you okay Tessa? What do you need? Food? Water? I'll get it for you."

I felt bad. Chance really did love Tessa.

"I just need you."

I'm not going to lie. That melted my heart. Tessa, my baby sister, found her true love.
