Harper and Jake sat cuddled up in each others arms on her bed, the two were celebrating their one month anniversary. Although they were supposed to go out after everything that had happened in vegas the day before Harper was feeling a little burnt out, and although Corbyn was safe and now on a plane back to LA- she couldn't help but worry, she couldn't help but think. She could have lost him last night.

Sometimes your brain knows more than it shared with you, sometimes you chose to block out what it knows. Harper had choose to block out the fact that the first thought in her mind when she got twitter notifications about what was happening in vegas was "something is gonna happen to him and he has no idea how I feel about him". She blocked out the fact that things just weren't feeling the same with Jake as they did in the beginning, but that wasn't just because of her blonde haired boy best friend, Jake had been acting different lately.

They were currently watching the fourth Harry potter movie and Harper was feeling content at the moment, that was until she felt a pair of warm lips hit her neck. Normally people would like that, they were 18/19 years old and they were home alone but it felt wrong and too soon for her, it didn't feel the way it should have. Wiggling in her position she moved so her neck was no longer exposed to him, wanting to focus on the movie and try to get her mind off everything that had been happening, but Jake didn't get the hint. His hands started to travel up and down her sides which she didn't bother to say anything about but when his hands slipped passed the waist band of her yoga shorts she shot out of bed faster than she had ever gotten up in her life.

"What the fuck are you doing dude?" She asked, standing a few feet away from her bedroom door. Jake just stood up with a smirk on his face.

"Come on baby, lets have some fun" He smiled, walking closer to her, way to close for comfort.

"Listen, I really don't think that we are at that stage yet" She told him, placing her hand on his chest to stop him from coming any closer to her.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me?"He asked, throwing his head back with a groan.

"Ive taken you on dates, I met your dad, Ive brought you flowers, driven you home from school, been the best possible boyfriend I could be and you still won't give it up?"He asked, an eyebrow raised and angry starting to lace through his voice.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Harper asked, so confused on where all of this was coming from.

"This bet wasn't supposed to take this long and now frankly its getting on my god damn nerves" He said placing his thumb and index fingers as he closed his eyes.

"A bet?" she whispered, suddenly feeling a million different things crash down on her at once.

"You really think a guy like me wanted to go out with a girl like you? The girl who hardly talks to anyone, the girl who could stand to lose a few pounds, the girl who had way more mental health issues than any guy would ever want to deal with? Like really? A panic attack in the bathroom, its embarrassing Harper and not me or any other guy would want to be seen with you" He laughed coldly, it was enough to send shivers down her spine as tears welled up in her eyes, he was right.

"Please get out" She whispered, never taking her eyes off the ground as she grabbed the door handle and opened the door.

"Gladly" He snorted before picking up his leather Jacket off the end of her bed and leaving. Leaving her alone to slide down her bedroom door and cry, leaving her with so many thoughts rushing through her mind but only two stuck out.

"I need Corbyn"
"He'd never say those things"
