We packed our stuff and headed out of the apartment. "My first beach!" David said giving Ethan a high five. It seems as if they knew each other for a long time, they get along so well. "Mine too. My family always stayed in Ohio." Bea added on. We got on the elevator and pressed the lobby button. "I hate elevators, I think they could just drop at any moment.." Dwy said as she grabbed hold of the rail. "Don't worry, the weight limit is like what," I said as I looked at Elijah. "1500 pounds?" Elijah shrugged. "I don't study elevators." The elevator jerked. "Shit.." Ethan said as he grabbed Kass. The elevator froze, I hit the emergency button. "Now we just wait." Dwy looked around the elevator. "I always knew this kinda thing would happen, I guess were unlucky kids; especially about what happened sophomore year.."
We walked out of the apartment complex unhurt. Elijah and Ethan got their cars from the garage and pulled the cars up to the curb. Dwy, Brendon, and me were in Elijah's car. David, Kass, Bea rode in Ethan's car. "What beach are we going to ma'lady." Elijah said, in the drivers seat. "Santa Monica's State beach."

"I've always wanted to go there. Ride the roller coaster and Farris Wheel.." Dwy said from the back. "I always played GTA5 and went to that beach. People say it looks exactly alike." Elijah said. "Yeah I remember that. We would all go to your house every Friday night and play GTA5." It went quiet for a while. "Until after the kidnapping. Then everything changed..." Brendon sighed. Elijah and Dwy were quiet. "Guys we have to stop thinking about it." I said as Elijah pulled into a parking spot and looked at me. "How can we stop thinking about it? They tore our. clothes, kept us for 2 days, and Triston tried to kill us!" "Well let's just at least stop talking about it." "Deal." Elijah said opening the door. "What's wrong with him?" Dwy and Brendon shook their heads.
We met the rest of the group near he pier where we would put our towels and bags. "You guys ready for this?" Ethan said walking backwards to the beach. "Hell yeah." David said. They ran in the water and started pushing. I pulled Elijah aside as everyone else got in the water. "What's wrong?" I asked him as I grabbed his hand. "Nothing. Just not enough sleep, that's all." He was looking at the ground, avoiding eye contact. "Look at me." He looked up with a frown. "You can tell me anything.." he smiled as he looked down again. "I miss my parents." He said after silence, now I frowned. "Me too. But we came here to make our dreams come true, remember? All of us being YouTubers and actors?" He looked up. "And you being a surgical technician.." I forgot about that. "That too." He hugged me. "No matter what, I'm going to fly to Ohio in 2 months to see my family.."
Elijah and I headed towards the water. Everyone was wrestling, while we just talked in the water. "So what are you deciding on?" He asked me as we walked out further. "About what?" "Your career." "Oh. Umm, YouTube with you guys. I mean, we've had the dream since we were 9, and it's still our dream-" "just that we also have others." Elijah interrupted. "You want to be a surgical technician and Kass wants to be a vet. What if the others have different plans to? Will we be able to still make videos-" "Elijah," I said turning to him. "Trust me. We can have other things going for us than YouTube. Umm, take Jenna Marbles as an example. She has a degree and still does YouTube..amazingly!" He nodded. "I guess it wouldn't be to hard...when do we start."
"Guys," I said walking back to our bags, they looked at me. "So we still have the YouTube dream right?" "Yeah!" "hell yeah!" "I guess." "Sure." I laughed. "Well, how about we go to Best Buy and buy some gear? Make the dream happen!" They started cheering and Ethan jumped on David, weird ass boys. "Ok let's get everything in the car and drive there!" I said as I grabbed my bags. Everyone grabbed their bags and chatted on the way to the car about the dream.
