if you still check up on me
through filtered thoughts and lazy keystrokes
i thank you in this passive passage of mine
i've made a milestone as of tonight
today, this hour i have published one hundred poems
can you tell i'm an emotional person?
in the span of a year or two
i find myself to have grown farther past things i can't imagine
and i don't justify the pains but they make me more and less
as of now i have a cliche
and they text me every night and call me love
between skin and souls and pages
