Chapter 19

*Zoeys POV*

The walk back was actually very quiet. But not awkward.

A comfortable quiet.

He gave me 2 coats to wear, a cup of hot tea, and my phone which I was very grateful for all of them. He held my free hand to keep it warm while the other hand held my cup.

Niall had already called Liam so the boys and girls knew we were fine. And Dakota was found so yay!

I soon was able to see the back lights of the house so I squeezed Niall's hand in excitement.

"Someones excited" Niall mumbles.

"Why wouldn't I be? I missed everyone!" I exclaim.

"Well true. But who ran away?" Niall smirks at me.

"Humph" I mumble but still hold his hand.

We walk into view and up the deck until we're standing at the door. Niall opens it, seeing as I'm frozen to my spot, and drags me in. I slowly walk in and everyone's head turns towards us.

I wave a small wave at them and notice two girls.

"OH MY GOD ZOEY!" Alexis screeches and leaps at me.

"OH MY GOD ALEXIS!" I screech back.

Everyone else, besides two girls, get up quickly and hug me.

Niall even joined, even though he has already hugged me.

I try to hug everyone a much as I can until I start to get claustrophobic and can't breathe. I squirm around and Alexis notices and makes everyone back off. I give her a small smile and mouth 'Thank you' at her. She nods at me.

I notice Dakota and run over to her and hug her while she hugs back.

"Why did you run off?" she whispers in my ear.

"I got worried for you and needed space" I whisper back. I feel her stiffen into the hug.

"Don't blame yourself. I just work myself up thinking that'll when people go missing and I don't know where they are, they'll never return. It's what I get for watching T.V. shows like that" I manage a small laugh which she also returns.

We pull out of the hug and I stomp my foot and put my hand on my hip.

"What's up with you?" Calum asks.

"Not to be rude girls," I motion to the two girls, "but who are these two?"

"Taylor," Dakota says pointing to a tall brunette, "and Heidi" she says pointing to the other.

I wave at them which they return.

I feel someone grip my wrist and I get yanked around to see Alexis' face.

"What?" I ask.

"Follow. Me" she says forcefully while yanking me off to another room.

I look at everyone, who is giving weird looks, and I wave until I'm yanked into a room.

"What was that and this for?" I ask sternly.

"One. I'm SO thankful your back. Two. I need help. Three. I have a date!" She exclaims.

"Oh my gosh! WHO?" I almost screech but realize I'm in a room alone with her so I quiet it down.

She blushes and says "Luke."
