Chapter 14: Heartbroken

Chaesoo's POV

"Where could she be?" Was all that you could hear as we searched around the mansion. We already searched everywhere. I even checked under the sink because who knows that she is there.

I sighed and held onto my forehead as I rest my other hand on my waist. I cannot help but get worried.

"Sorry Chaesoo...this is all my fault," I heard a familiar voice say from behind. I turned around and saw Jin. He has his head down and I can feel the guilt that he is feeling.

"It is no one's fault Jin," I said and reached out to hold his hand. He looked at me and his eyes were drowning in an ocean of guilt. "All that is important now is to find my sister," I added. He just nodded as a response and gently tugged his hand away from mine.

"Have you guys found her?" Jiwon asked.

"Nope...not yet," Jhope answered and shook his head.

"I am so not going to forgive myself if anything bad happens to her," I uttered. I gulped down hardly. I felt very guilty and I felt like I am not good at doing my role as her older sister. Instead of taking care of her, I am hurting her feelings.

The main door opened and our heads quickly turned. The smile on my face that was formed due to the hopes I had that it was Chaerin dropped when I saw Taehyung enter instead.

Aish...where is that girl?!

I can feel my eyes starting to water up and I blinked rapidly to stop them from creating tears.

"Taehyung! Where have you been?" Jimin asked him.

"I drove Chaerin back to her house," he answered. My eyes widened.

What?! My sister was with him all this time?

"You should have called us! We were worried sick looking for her!" I shouted. I felt relieved that my sister was already safe but I still cannot help but to feel bad.

"I was on my way home and I saw her walking under the rain," he explained. "I followed her but she kept on shooing me away but she ended up falling asleep in my arms."

"She walked under the rain?!" I exclaimed and he nodded his head.

What is she gets sick?!

I felt even more guilty but I just sighed. "Thank you Taehyung," I uttered and he just replied with a small smile but then he frowned afterwards looking confused.

"What happened to her anyways? She looks so lifeless while walking. She almost seemed like a zombie," he chuckled. I narrowed my eyes at him and he stopped laughing when he felt like all eyes were on him.

Good thing he stopped. I could really land my fist on his face right now for laughing at my sister. I just let him be since he doesn't know about Chaerin and Jin yet.

"Wait..." he silently uttered and turned to Jin while pointing a finger at him. "Did she confess to you?" he asked.

My head turned to Jin and saw him lower his head and swallow. "Yes.." he mumbled.
