Chaerin's POV

It was already a week after Mijin had arrive. I don't know why but she and her sister are not here at this moment. Maybe they had a sister bonding time... Impossible. They hate each other. I think they hate each other more than they hate me.

"Miss Lee?"

I snapped out of my thoughts.

"S-Sorry... I was thinking of something."

I took the tray from the cooks hand and gave her a small smile and she smiled back. I walked towards our table making sure that my eyes were on something else...

...but my eyes betrayed me and landed on Jin and my sister who looks too happy together. To close together. As if nothing could break the two apart.

"Hey Chaerin!" They greeted me chorally. I greeted them back then sat down beside Hyerin.

We started to eat our lunch. Everyone started to have their own dialogues and stuff while I just stayed silent. They were all so noisy and Hyerin and Jieun was the closest to me but Jin and Chaesoo's voices were like taking over.

"Take this Chaesoo."

"What is---macaroons?"

"Yeah. I hope you'll like them. I made them very special... With a touch of love."

"Awww....you're still so sweet. You never change."

Have I mentioned that they are together now?

Of course it isn't alright for me. I mean, I have let go of him already and I accepted that we weren't really made for each other. But I can't just quickly erase all of my feelings away so fast. If only there is this one button to erase all of my feelings for him but their isn't.

There will never be a shortcut to it.

And just like Jimin and Taehyung said, I shouldn't rush it. They told me that time will come and I will really be able to move on. They even said that I will just realize that I have already moved on at an unexpected time.

We finished our lunch but we decided to stay a bit more here and continue our--I mean, their chitchats before the bell rings.

While I, on the other hand, decided to pull out a book.

"English? Again?" I turned to Hyerin and she had a frown on her face. The language really irritates her though. "Is it the book about that weird boy with his stick and round glasses that has a cool scar on his forehead?"

"You mean Harry Potter?"

"Yes! You're reading that weird stuff again."

"First of all, it is not a stick but a wand. And it is not weird. I just really like the book and it has a great story. It is not weird, Hyerin."

She paused for a moment and read a few lines of the book. She can read the words though but she is too lazy to understand what they mean. "These words are so deep! How come you can understand them?" she asked me, her face looks like she was really amazed.

"I...cannot understand all though. It is deep, yes, which is actually the reason why I chose to read it. So that I can learn more words and expand my vocabulary."

"Do you really have to study this language?"

I frowned. "Of course Hyerin. It is actually one of our subjects," I answered with the isn't-it-obvious tone. "Besides, we've been learning this language since first year in high school. Why do you keep on conplaining?"

"It is because I am not like you, smartyskirt," she answered. I cannot help but to chuckle at the word she just used. "You are all good at books and literature and history, music, number and arts! What thing am I good at that you are not?"
