Chapter Six: Team Charlie and New Equipment Part II

After leaving the main floor, Wash, North, South and I went to go meet with Team Beta. The rest didn't want to go meet them. Carolina didn't want to meet them since she hates half of the team, Tex doesn't really care, Maine wanted to take a quick nap, and Wyoming wanted to go find a place to read.

It was pretty normal, I mean I don't really want to go meet the Team Charlie but what the heck. "I'm Kansas. Team leader of Team Beta." Kansas stated to the Charlie's leader.

"Delaware Team Charlie's leader." the man was in light green with dark green Eva armour. His voice was pretty deep I guess. Not as deep as Maine's though.

I watched as Wash walked to Louisiana. I didn't follow of course, I just didn't want to be 'freaked out' again. "Hey," I turned and it was a man that had a scars on his forehead and down his cheek. He has brown shaved hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a scout armour and was color red. "Names Michigan."

I gave a slight nod. "Names Arizona."

"Cool cool. I am the Squads Sniper." he said putting his helmet on.

"Sweet I am kind of like South." I said looking over at South.

"Aw the bitch of the squad," I slowly turned my head to him raising an eyebrow. "I am sorry but I am going to go shoot targets. Um nice to meet you." Michigan passed me walking out of the room.

"Ya nice meeting you too." I bite my lip so I wouldn't call him out. I didn't want to start a fight on the first day.

I took a deep breath and turned to look over at another Freelancer that was reading a magazine of weapons. He or she was sitting on a couch not paying any attention to it's surroundings. It had Mark armour that was red with blue trim colour.

I started to walk towards it and sat close to it. "Hey names Arizona yours?"

It looked up at me. "New Hampshire." Male voice of course, more males than females here isn't there?

He looked back down and started to read the magazine again. "Well nice talking to you." I said getting up and walking away.

"Hey Arizona come over here." Wash was signaling me to walk over there where Louisiana was.

I hesitated for a second deciding if I actualy wanted to go. Sighing I walked to them. "Hey Arizona." Louisiana said cautiously.

I halfed smiled underneath my helmet. "Hey."

"Team Alpha report to the main floor." some man said over the intercom.

I looked over at Wash. "We didn't even meet everybody." I said sarcastically.

Wash shook his head and started to walk out. "Bye Louisiana."

I walked beside him. "Bye Wash." she responded behind me we went into the elevator and the doors started to shut. "Bye Anabeth."

I jumped from her calling my real name. Did I tell her my real name? I was going to stop the elevator doors from shutting but it I was too late.

"How does she know your name?" Wash asked turning his head slowly to me.

I was standing there for a couple seconds before I responded. "I have no idea. She sounds familiar but I just can't put a finger on it."

Wash nodded looking up at the numbers counting down. "Could it be someone from you other team or neighborhood friend?"

I was processing what Wash said to me. Trying to think who has that voice that I knew. I went through my head my memories. Nothing still can't think of anyone or anything that could possibly know who I am.
