Delilahs P.O.V

"But you're so hypnotizing. You've got me laughing while I sing, you've got me smiling in my sleep. And I can see this unraveling. Your love is where I'm falling. so please don't catch me. This is love, please don't break me. I'm giving up. so just catch me." I finished. "That's really good." Noelle interrupted. "Thank you." I said shyly. "So are we gonna talk about you and carl now?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. I laughed and nodded my head. "So you wanna know about carl and I." I said teasing her a bit. "Yes. Now tell me." She said impatiently." No details left out?" I asked. "No details left out. You have to include everything. Now come on. Tell me!!!" "Okay. Well, carl and I were told to watch the prison. But when I sensed your danger, I wanted to go and get you without carl so he wouldn't question me about my powers. He wouldn't have it, so I used it anyway without telling him fully. After we saved you, he wanted to know. But I didn't tell him at first. And he walked away, upset with me. It made me feel bad. And so I told him. He was surprisingly fine with it. Then we went back to the prison and waited for you to come back. He called me pretty and told me that I made everything brighter for him, and he kissed me. And of course, I kissed him back." I said hoping she wouldn't kill me. "Oh my god. That's amazing. And adorable. But wait... You told him our secret?" She said, glaring at me as she stood up. "I did. But I trust him. More then I've trusted anyone. And that's coming from Delilah Rose Johnston. The girl who has trust issues." "But you didn't ask me, Delilah. You probably didn't ask Siren either. We SHARE this secret. You can't just go around telling people without asking us first. Even if you trust them. You have to remember that this isn't just your secret. It's ours too." "It's not like you were here to talk about it." I mumbled. "That isn't my fault. Sure. I chose to go with them, but I did it to help out. So don't be mad at me for that. And you could've waited till I got back. I haven't even told Harry yet. I trust him probably just as much as you trust Carl. I don't know how he's going to take it. And I want to wait. But when I do decide to tell him, I'm going to ask first. But I won't be asking you. You didn't ask me, so I don't have to ask you." "Whatever. You know... I thought that you would be happy that I was able to trust people more than you, but I guess not." I said frustrated. "I am happy about that. But I still don't think that it was right for you to tell our secret without asking first. I might've told Carl about you and everything that you've been through, but it's..." She stops herself after she realizes what she just said. "YOU WHAT?!?!" I yelled. "Delilah, I didn't mean to say that. Forget that you heard that." She said quickly. "I trusted you. I thought you would never tell anyone." Tears started to stream down my face. "I only told him because he asked me. He was desperate. He seemed like he really cared. He really wanted to know what was wrong with you. He wanted to know why you're so scared to trust people. Why you keep to yourself. Why you're so mysterious. He just wanted to help you. I did too, and I thought that he could be the one to do that. So I told him... Everything. I'm so sorry, Delilah." She whispered as tears started to stream down her face too. "I told you what you wanted. Now please leave." I said, tears still running down my face. "Please. You have to forgive me. I was only doing what I thought would help you." She said, not doing what I asked her. "I said leave. I will forgive you when I feel that I can trust you again." I stated. "Fine... But you should know that Carl knows about every little detail. Even about when you used to cut. I'm really sorry, Delilah... Just know that I'm really sorry and that I will be here when you forgive me." She sobbed as she left. I sat in the corner and cried. I took my razor from my bag and placed it on my wrist. I winced at the pain. I heard footsteps and looked over. Carl walked in. He was shocked and stunned. "Delilah?!?! No. Put it down. Don't do this. You have too many people who care about you to be doing this. Please. Stop harming yourself." He cried as he ran towards me and tried to take the razor out of my hand. "It's to fucking late for that. People have already hurt me." I yelled. "What are you talking about?" "Noelle and I just had a fight. She broke a promise that she swore that she would never break." I said though my tears. "You're breaking your promise too. Please stop. I don't want to loose you. I care too much. And what promise did she make?" "I broke her promise a while ago... And it was that she would never tell anyone what happened to me. She told you. You may have asked, but she still broke her promise." I said. "Delilah. You have to stop. Not for Noelle this time, but for me. Please. I can't loose you. And don't blame just Noelle. I asked her. She wasn't going to tell me, but I wouldn't leave her alone. So please. Don't blame Noelle. If you want someone to blame, then blame me. Noelle just wants to help you." "Carl, I don't know if I can keep that promise. Just because I promise you, doesn't mean that I'll keep it." "Well, can you at least try?" He asked, tears slowly streaming down his face. "I can. Don't cry." I said, wiping away his tears. "Thank you..." He whispered. "Yup." I said and he hugged me tightly.
