It Will Cost Ya'

Chapter 6 -

"I told you guys she's a snitch." Faith starts laughing with her friends as she stops and stares at me. "Pathetic little snitch."

I rolled my eyes at her and ignored her remark. She has nothing better to do I swear. It's like she's belittling me just to feel better about herself. "Don't talk about my girlfriend like that." I turn to face Axel as he puts his arm around my shoulder. I glared at him.

"G-girlfriend?" Faith stutters shockingly. "You aren't serious!" I chuckled. Axel got her hopes up then crushed it. It's nice to see her panic like this.

"I'm serious." He holds me closer. I rolled my eyes. It's always Axel to save the day.

"Axel, get off of me." I tried escaping from his tight hug. But that only made things worse! He grips me tighter! My face was now smothered on his shoulder. Is he wearing cologne?!

"Your little girlfriend seems to be struggling." Faith crosses her arms as she stares at Axel hugging me with jealousy. You can see how jealous she was by just looking at her. She really did like Axel.

"Oh, she isn't," Axel smirks as he looks down at me. I literally couldn't breathe in his tight ass grip.

"I am!" I muffled. He laughed and let me go.

"You're adorable." He pinched my cheek and everyone 'awwed' at us.

"Gross." Faith walks away in anger. I burst out laughing with Axel.

"You're welcome." Axel smiles as he stared at me. I chuckled.

"For what?"

"You wanted her to leave, right?" He pointed his thumb backward past him and turned around, "unless..." he was about to go get her and I pulled his arm and he stumbles towards me.

His face a few inches away from mine and I stared into his eyes. He started biting his bottom lip and I quickly moved back before anything else happened. "I'm sorry... I have to go..." I quickly walked away and fell on my butt.

I glared up to see Damon. He smiles down at me and offers me a hand. I quickly grabbed it and he lifts me up. "You okay?" He asked me.

"Why do you care?" Hunter besides him, asked. Damon stared at Hunter and shrugged his shoulder.

"Just askin', man," Damon replied. I stare down to see our hands were stilled locked. I quickly let go of his hand.

I chuckled then quickly walked away.

The school was over and for some reason, I avoided Damon and Axel. I was walking home when I see Axel in front of me. I quickly hid behind a tree. I hope he doesn't see me.

"You okay?" I stumble back and fell on my ass! Why am I always falling?! I glare at the person and notice it was Damon. "Why am I always helping you up?" He smirked as he quickly pulls me up. I turned my head to see Axel staring at us.

Jealousy... just for a glimpse, I swear I saw jealousy... he quickly walks away after seeing us.

Was he upset...?

"What were you doing anyway?" Damon curiously asked.

I gulped down some spit nervously. How am I supposed to get away now? "U-um..." I slowly took a step back.

"Watch out!" And then I almost tripped on a rock when he quickly places an arm behind my back to hold me.

"T-Thank you..." I said as he smiled. His smile was so adorable.
