Change Of Plans

Chapter 10 -

"You tell Hunter?" Damon, Axel and I all sat on the couch.

"I texted him," Damon placed his phone down. "They only said our names. They never described how we look." He had a point.

"So they don't know which Damon or Hunter." I pointed that out. Damon nodded his head agreeing as Axel stared at the ground.

"We should figure this out tomorrow, tell Hunter to meet us at the mini market." I got up and started stretching.

"You want me to spend the night here?" Damon also got up as he confusingly stares at me.

"What?! No way!" Axel started dragging him towards the door.

"Axel, he has to!" I shouted grabbing onto Damons arm. "What if they figure out he's the Damon they are looking for?" I use all my strength to pull him towards me.

"They wont!" As he shouted that he let go of Damon— bad move...

Damon falls on top of me and... his lips goes on mine.

His eyes were as wide as mine. We were both shocked and I couldn't move. "GET OFF OF HER!" Axel shouted and pushed him. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?!" I just stood there laying on the floor shocked as ever. I couldn't manage to say anything. No words came out. He picks me up and I stood on my feet. I glance over at Damon and his cheeks were super red! He place a finger on his lips, staring shocked at the walls. "Did I miss something?"

Axel probably didn't see us kiss. "Nothing!" Both Damon and I shouted then stared at each other then quickly looked away.

"Why are you both acting like this?!" Axel stared at both of us in annoyance then stomp his way up the stairs.

No! He's leaving us alone!

"I—"

"I—"

We both talked at the same time.

"You can go first—"

"What were you saying—?"

Then did it again.

Talk about mega awkwardness.

"Since I don't trust that loser over there," Axel walks back down the stairs with a bunch of blankets and pillows. "We are all going to sleep in the same room." He smiled.

"What?"

"Yup." He starts placing the blankets on the ground.

Damon was sound asleep. Since Axel didn't trust him near me he slept in the middle. I was still awake watching the movie when I turn to face Axel. He was sleeping on his side so his face was facing towards me.

I lift up my hand once again, slowly making my way to his face. A few inches away...

'BAM!'

My hand is stopped by his hand. MY HEART DROPS! "AXEL!" I whisper/shouted. He chuckles and opens his eyes.

"What are you doing?" He lets go of my arm.

"N-Nothing..."

"You always had a stuttering problem when you lie." He pointed out. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I do not lie." I shrugged.

"You just did. Once again." He scoffed.

"Shush!"

"Make me." He smirks. I suspiciously stared at him.

"No."

"Then don't tell me to shush." He gets on his back and glances at the ceiling. "What will happen when Jackson finds us?"
