Kage Ni Kakureru Shizutâzu

Prologue

Once Upon A Time, there was a pregnant soon-to-be mother of twins. She was pretty excited to be having kids because she has always wanted a big family. Now, she already had a son whose name was Daku Kira, but even he was excited to spoil his younger siblings. Currently, she's doing some last minute shopping, she was cooking dinner when she noticed that she was missing a couple of ingredients, hence this situation.

But this was the era where the werewolves hunted the vampires down, to the point that it was hard to spot one cause they were a few, meaning the vampire took every single chance to kill all the pregnant ones in order to stop the growth, including the young females. She knew this and usually had her husband with her, but it was supposed to be quick since they lived nearby the market. Oh, how wrong was she...

In a nearby alley, two glowing crimson red eyes showed themselves, signaling a vampire was near. Its red eyes followed her, the shade of red in its eyes was the shade of a hungry vampire. It was going to kill two birds with one stone, getting fed and killing a female werewolf carrying pups.

Once the mother had gotten everything she needed, she decided to head back before her husband noticed her absence. Out of nowhere, she felt a bony arm wrap around her waist before she realized she was grabbed by her waist and pulled back. The vampire had put a bony hand to her mouth to keep her quiet while his other hand kept her on his hold. Not letting more time pass, it sunk its fangs into its pregnant prey and decided to feed first. Once it had quenched its thirst, it still does not take its fangs out before it lets a blackish liquid flow into the woman's body.

The liquid was the poison. If the soon-to-be mother dies, their spawns will follow not long after. After that, it left, leaving her crying, bloody figure in the alley. This 'liquid' was the thing that turned humans as one of them, but very deadly for other creatures.

The husband had noticed that something was wrong, he couldn't smell his wife anywhere in the house and he felt a bit of pain through their connection. Seeing that she wasn't in the house, he decided to go and look for her outside.

After walking around sniffing the air, a noise soon catches his attention. He stopped at hearing a soft cry and looked in the direction where it came from. He soon notices it was his missing wife and was quickly by her side, where he then saw that she had some bags with her. He smelled blood so he looked closer and saw puncture wounds on her neck.

"What happened?", he asked, and as soon he heard his wife's words, he rushed her to the hospital. Daku was playing with a few friends and should be back at the house soon, trusting the doctors to save her and the pups, he went back to get his son. The doctors and nurses rushed back and forth, gathering things they needed and following commands, trying to find a way to stop it.

An hour turned into a day and a day turned into three, soon a week had passed and they still had no progress, even as her due date was arriving. Unknown to them, they had other problems to take care of, the unborn pups had already come in contact with the poison the vampire had let off.

The father and son were heartbroken at hearing this, they could only hope for the best when the due date arrived. The doctor had seen improvement on the mother, but this created worries that the pups didn't make it through.

At last, the due date arrived and, under surgery, they took the newly born 'pups' out of the mother's womb as they didn't want to create more stress for the mother. As one of the nurses was cleaning one of the twins, they called out to the doctor to look, where he actually confirms that this 'pup', wasn't fully a werewolf as it was born with what seemed like cat ears and a thin tail. While the other looked normal for now, but only time could tell if there are some changes or not.

A different nurse had called the father and son to follow them to the nursery room, where they had given him one of the twins. "Where's the other one, did it make it?" Asked the father, starting to feel grief.

"She made it, but we're not too sure-", the nurse started to speak before Getting cut off.

"Let me see her! She's my child!" He demanded, feeling relief and anger boil in him. They had no right to take away his child.

The nurse looked hesitant, but still nodded and left to get the other twin. When she returned, she had the missing twin in her arms, but this time she came with the doctor.

"I'm sorry for the separation, but we were unclear if you would still want her, knowing she is part vampire. She's a Neko because of the werewolf DNA and Vampire poison mixing, it's a rare genetic. She has most of the poison I believe but I can't be sure about the other one. In fact, this one is the reason why the mother is still alive, are you sure that you want her after knowing all that?" Asked the doctor.

The doctor smiled at hearing the man say yes with no hesitation and told the nurse to give the 'pup' to the son as the father already held one. Daku smiles down at the small bundle in his arms, love shining brightly in his eyes. 'I'm an Aniki now...'

Breezy: Yes, I'm alive, and making a different story instead of continuing the ones I already have. I won't make excuses, so here's what I got to say, I lost my interest in them. I don't have that spark anymore if anyone wants to take them feel free, but that's called "Triplets Chase", is off limits, understand? I won't let anyone touch it due to the fact that it also belongs to Shadow unless she gives the okay, no one can touch that story.
