Kage Ni Kakureru Shizutâzu

Chapter 3

They were very different, yet very similar at the same time. Daku and their Father took it upon themselves to train the twins so that no incident like that could happen again. The girls were reluctant but agreed in the end, not wanting to feel that again.

A year after that happened, they continued to attend school with the condition that they wait for someone to pick them up. The twins kind of found that annoying but they dealt with it, not wanting that incident to happen again.

One day, Ochitsuita hadn't dried her hair after a bath she got that morning and it was kind of cold and windy outside. She was playing with her friends outside when she suddenly tripped over a root, causing her to fall in some Poison Ivy and she almost died by it. They now knew not to let the twins anywhere near poison but not known to Mother and Father, Daku always sprinkled a little into their food to help them get used to it. No one ever found out, only that it seemed like the girls were getting sick like normal pups.

Too soon, the word that a Neko was alive had passed around the world after that incident. The other species soon grew interested as a Neko was very, very rare. The most interesting species though was the vampires themselves. They wanted to make sure it wasn't a lie so they sent out a spy to confirm it for them, many others doing the same.

If the spy confirmed that it was true there was a Neko, they would start gathering numbers in order to get the Neko and have the werewolf power to themselves. The word that it had a twin came up as well, meaning that they could have double amount of power, even if the twin wasn't a Neko. Tension soon grew in the house because of this, but even they still had their happy moments.

Soon, the spy had confirmed that it was true after seeing the Neko on her way to school. It got new orders afterward. Eliminate the parents and take the Neko with her twin if they can. What they didn't account for though was their older brother watching over them.

Sadly the Mother grew sick and old, no longer at being able to bear kids by the sickness, so pregnancy couldn't save her this time. The Father was becoming delusional and abusive as well in his grief for his mate, he was feeling her pain as well. The Mother never noticed but Daku did. The Father treated Daku normally but the twins didn't walk away without a wound, so it was up to him to take care of his little sisters as their Mother couldn't even get out of bed.

At the age of eleven, their Mother died and their Father turned into an abusive drunk because of his grief and pain of losing his mate. When he was sober he was always crying, not being able to remember what he did to the twins and it remained that way because they would hide away from him, put makeup on the wound or it healed quickly.

Daku grew to hate the Father he once loved, but he couldn't pinpoint when. Speaking of Daku, he turned out to be the new voice of authority. The twins listened to him because he helped them and kept them safe so they obeyed to not be a bother, plus they were still underage.

It kept going worse as time passed, they were now twelve years old and graduated early from school with high scores and top of the class in hopes to please their father. A part of him was proud so he left them alone for a week but after that, it was two months of hell. Daku couldn't do anything until it was up to "that" point when it reaches it, he could kill their father without punishment of the law.

Which it soon did when Ochitsuita, the obvious target for many of his assaults, was struggling to breathe and stay alive. Shizuka was in almost the same condition but she had more resistance, only one thing could kill her, unlike her twin. When Daku saw, he was immediately by their sides and took them to the hospital. He was allowed to speak with Shizuka because she was in a more stable condition. He asked who did it and at the hearing who, he snapped and left the hospital after saying an edgy goodbye.

The next morning the police were at their house because someone called after entering the house, because the door was open, and discovered a corpse. They were investigating and questioned Daku as the twins were at the hospital, though they couldn't pinpoint him as guilty because Daku went by the law. He was soon made the legal guardian of the twins as he was old enough to take care of them.

Everything soon smoothened out for awhile, this is until the twins hit sixteen, the age where the males will start chasing after the twins to mate and Daku didn't appreciate it one bit. So he went to extreme measures to make sure that none of the twins lost their virginity at an early age. They didn't mind it as it helped them focus on other things.

That was, until the dreaded time for every female came around. Mating season was about to begin and everyone was starting to feel the effects. During this time there's no school so they were safe at home but they were in pain, lots of it. It was a common fact that if you don't mate with someone there will be an excruciating pain until they somehow find a way to please themselves.

Daku was not looking forward to this season, even the males feel the effects but the female had it worse off than male because of their hormones and body structure. He sighed in worry.

Breezy: Ah yes, I forgot to mention, this book has a tag on Naruto, but that's because there might be a few characters from the first Hokage and second Hokage era, though it's unclear. I will take that tag away if we add none of them to this book.
