"S-so your new here right?"

Syrus asked trying his hardest not to stutter or make a big fool of himself. Heather smiled at his shyness.

"Yeah I believe so, since Crowler did announce it"

The both laughed and Syrus scratched the back of his head nervously, his heart was beating fast to the point he think he will explode.

"Right hahaha sorry, its just that I get nervous around pretty girls like yourself"

Syrus eyes opened wide from what he confessed.

"Uh no i-i mean is that....uh im sorry can i try again"

Heather giggled with a blush and decided to be playful.

"So you think I'm pretty?"

Heather asked lowering her eye lid slowly and getting a bit closer to Syrus red face. Without speaking Syrus simply nodded. Heather laughs backing away for to give each other a personal space.

"Well thank you Syrus. I guess i'll be seeing you around"

Heather said turning around. Syrus saw that she was walking away but without thinking he grabbed hold of her hand causing himself to blush once again. Heather stopped to look at their hands connected and then look at Syrus.

"Yes?"

"I-i was wondering since your new, maybe i can show you around this place?"

Heather beamed at the idea and happily nodded.

"Yeah I would like that"

"G-great and I can let you meet some of my friends"

"That would be great"

"Are you doing anything right now?"

Syrus was surprise himself that his stuttering stopped.

"Well right now no, but i was going to head up to my room to relax. Why?"

"So you can meet my friends and tomorrow we can hang out and show you some neat places"

"Sure sounds good to me"

"Awesome"

Without thinking, Syrus still kept his hold on Heather's hand, Heather didn't mind it at all, to be honest she was actually starting to like Syrus. Together they walked back to where Syrus last left his friends and he saw they were still waiting for him. Many students started to stare as to why Syrus has his hand on Heather.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late but you won't believe who i just run into"

He held up his hand still holding on to Heather's and blush as he finally realized he was holding her hand for the longest. Heather waved at the small group.

"Hi, I'm Heather"

"I'm Jaden Yuki"

Said the boy with Brown hair and red jacket.

"I'm Chazz Princeton"

Said the boy with black spikey hair and black jacket.

"And I'm Alexis Rhodes. So your going to be in obelisk blue right?"

Said the girl with blonde hair and blue jacket.

"Yes I am"

"That's great, I can show you around and plus if you hang out with us it will be one heck of an adventure for you and i won't be the only girl anymore with these guys"

Heather gave her a polite smile.

"I'm sorry but i already made plans for tomorrow. Syrus will be showing me around this place."

"Great we can all tag along"

Jaden said with a grinned but Syrus cut in

"No i was actually thinking it would only be me and Heather"

Everyone was stunned and looked at Syrus. Heather notice the look.

"I'm sorry did we do something wrong?"

"Uh no its just that Syrus here is actually a stuttering mess when talking to girls. We are surprise he asked you"

Syrus smiled.

"I guess Heather here gave me the encouragement"

Heather grinned at the happy smile on Syrus's face. Heather looked at her watch and gasp.

"Um I'm sorry, i really need to go back to my dorm so i can rest. I'll see you tomorrow Syrus"

"Okay, bye Heather"

She waved at him and the others.

"It was nice meeting you guys"

As soon as Heather left Syrus let out a happy sigh with a goofy look.

"Guys, i think I'm in love"

"You always say that to the new girls you meet"

Chazz said.

"No i think this time its for real"

Jaden walked up to Syrus and nudged him with his arm.

"Don't sweat it buddy, i think she likes you too"

"Really you think so?"

"Of course I do she would glance at you everytime you weren't looking"

"Ugh just be careful Sy, you don't really know her to get too close to her"

Alexis said trying to warn Syrus from falling in too deep. Syrus looked at his friends with confidence.

"Don't worry, I know she is the one. I mean​ she is actually giving me a chance"

"No she is just letting you show her around. Its not exactly dating"

Chazz said bringing down Syrus hope. Fortunately it didn't, Syrus saw it as his chance even if he just meet her but he can get to know her as they hang out tomorrow.
