Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Syrus and Heather

Ever since the dance Syrus was seeing Heather in a whole new light. Syrus would find himself day dreaming of just him and Heather alone together on a date causing him to get detention in class for not paying attention.

The only thing that is stopping him from asking Heather out on a date is his doubts, Heather is a popular girl, the king of game's daughter, singer. How can she ever go on a date with a nobody. On the bright side, he doesn't see Heather as the one always wanting attention just friends that would be normal.

Syrus was currently in his dorm talking with Jaden.

"Just ask her out, it isn't that hard"

"But what if she rejects me like other girls do?"

"But Heather is not like other girls"

"But.."

Jaden cut Syrus off.

"Look, you were Heather's first friend. She went out as a date with you to the dance. The glances that she gives you. I mean come on, she really likes you. You should give her a chance"

"What if I'm not the right one for her?"

"Then let me be the judge of that"

Said a voice. Jaden and Syrus looked towards the door wide open and there was Heather with a smile on her face standing in the door way. Syrus quickly covered his head with a blanket to avoid looking at Heather. Jaden grinned.

"I think i'll leave you two alone to talk this out"

Jaden left leaving Heather and Syrus alone. Heather made her way to a shaking Syrus on the bed, she removed the blanket with a smirk.

"So is it true?"

Syrus opened his eyes and looked at Heather with fear in his eyes. Heather let out a sigh giving him a gentle smile.

"Come on Syrus tell me, why would i reject you? You're my friend"

Syrus swallowed the lump in his throat and sat on the edge of the bed next to Heather.

"Its just that..."

Syrus then lost his confidence when he looked into Heather's eyes. Heather put a hand on his shoulder as a sign of encouragement.

"W-will you go out with me?"

Heather smiled

"I was wondering how long it was gonna take you?"

"Y-you knew?"

"Of course I knew, the whole school is talking about it but I could careless on what they say because I wanted to hear it out of your mouth."

"Oh"

Syrus didn't know what to say he was honestly surprised, he didn't know he was that obvious. Until he felt a peck on his lips which brought him out of his train of thoughts as he saw Heather pulled away.

"Sorry it looked like you were flying in the sky"

Heather said with a blush, Syrus blush as he realized what Heather did.

"Sorry, so are we officially going to start dating?"

"Yes"

"As girlfriend and boyfriend?"

"Yes"

"You really like me?"

Heather rolled her eyes, she could tell Syrus was actually nervous about this new relationship.

"Syrus yes and yes again to any other questions you have"

Syrus chuckled sheepishly

"Sorry"

Heather smiled and then stood up stretching out her hand to him. He looked at her confused.

"Come on"

He grabbed hold of hers as he got up from the bed.

"Where are we going?"

"On our first real official date"

Syrus blush but was then replaced with a grin, as he yanked Heather and collided his lips on her causing her to blush and close her eyes as she enjoyed the soft and gentle kiss. They both pulled apart and smiled at each other.

"C-can I kiss you more often like that?"

Heather giggled and nodded leaning her nose against Syrus in a eskimo kiss.

"Do you really have to ask?"

Syrus then gave Heather a kiss on the nose as she happily giggled. They both pulled apart and walked out the door, closing it behind them. They walked together hand in hand next to the lake. Not too far from where Heather and Syrus were, Jaden saw the new found couple.

'Syrus did it. I hope now he has more confident in what he does'

Jaden thought, as Heather and Syrus were skipping rocks towards the lake. Heather pouted as she didn't know how to do it, luckily Syrus was teaching her and as Heather finally got the hang of it, she happily cheered and jumped on Syrus wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.

"Yay!!"

Syrus quickly found his balance and grabbed hold of Heather's back making sure she doesn't fall either. Syrus smiled and captured Heather's lips in a kiss lock.

'Wow this is more simple than I thought it would be. She really likes simple things'

Syrus thought as they pulled away. Heather jumped off him and grabbed another rock and skipped it towards the water again.
