A week has passed and now it was time for the Ball to begin. Everyone was dressed in beautiful fancy dresses and tux's. The auditorium was filled with lights flashing everywhere, the buffet of different foods and beverages. Jaden and Syrus were waiting for their dates to arrive and not a moment later Heather and Alexis arrived but once they stepped foot inside everyone was staring at them amazed.

Syrus mouth drop as he saw his girlfriend, in his eyes she was absolutely stunning and glowing. Heather saw Syrus and walked towards him, making a small twirl in front of him.

"Heather you look beautiful"

Heather blush at her boyfriend's compliment.

"Thank you Syrus, you look very handsome. Um so you want to come up with me on stage so we can dance while I sing?"

"Sure"

Syrus turn towards Jaden and Alexis.

"See you guys later"

With that said Syrus jogged towards Heather and grabbed hold of her hand as they made their way to the stage. Heather got on microphone ear piece.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is our final year here at Duel Academy so let's make the most of it and have some fun in this years Ball"

Everyone clapped, the music of the beat began to play and Heather began to sing dancing along with Syrus.

Heather continued to sing a couple more songs before getting a break to eat and drink. The dj began playing music while Heather and Syrus got off stage to get some drink but Syrus offered to get the drinks while Heather waits for him at their table.

At the table the food was all ready served, a moment later Syrus came back.

"Sorry I took long"

"That's okay"

Heather said taking hold of her drink while Syrus sat down next to her and began eating together, talking and laughing. Just then a soft slow music began to play, Syrus smiled and stood up holding out his hand to Heather.

"Would you like to dance?"

Heather smiled

"Of course"

Heather took his hand and stood up walking to the dance floor where all the others were dancing. As they continued to dance, the moment was interrupted when someone tap on Heather's shoulder. Heather turn to look and glared at the person it was Alex.

"Mind if I cut in?"

He said with a smirk.

"Get lost punk, can't you see I'm dancing with my boyfriend"

The smirk remained on Alex face and turned his head around up in the air.

"I don't see him around"

Heather and Syrus glared at Alex from making fun of his height and decided to stand up to him.

"Hey you know something, people like you don't deserve a person like Heather, sure I maybe shorter than her but my love for her reaches to the sky"

Alex just narrowed his eyes at Syrus but Heather was blushing at his words.

'Wow he really does love me'

"You know something I'm not asking for permission, now move aside"

Alex said angrily pushing Syrus away, but he stood his ground and Heather decided to step in before it gets physical.

"Listen here, i am not going to tell you again. Now leave us alone"

Heather said grabbing hold of Syrus hand walking to another spot away from Alex and continued with the festivity with out any problems.
