"We go in, we get what we need, we go out. Got it?"
They weren’t rookies, but something about this mission gnawed at his nerves.
His partner grabbed his shoulder and squeezed it in assurance.
"We’ll be back before you know it. Stop worrying."
They went in—he led the way—and successfully dodged the security cameras. It didn’t take long to reach the room containing their target.
"Let’s get this done and over."
He turned to face his partner, but was met with a stern faced nurse holding a syringe.
"How’d you break out of your room this time, Mr. Michaels?"
