Hair Clip was adopted at the age of one. Her birth parents had a dream that Hair Clip would have a better life if they didn't take care of her. They were poor anyways. So, they went to the orphanage.
"Make sure she goes to good people."
A rich family came along and adopted Hair Clip.
"She's so adorable!"
"She's the child we've always wanted!"
Hair Clip grew up not knowing that she was adopted. It was like she was supposed be rich. Things came to her naturally. She knew how to spend money and she knew it was important, especially at a young age. Hair Clip grew independent quickly. But she always had fun with her parents and she would spend a lot of time with them. Every weekend they would go on a trip to somewhere new and exciting. During the week, her parents would work and she would hang out with her friends. Her birth parents had always believed that she would be having a good time. And she was. Until something devastating happened.
"I am very sorry for your loss."
"What? W-What are you talking about?"
"I'm here to inform you that your parents have died in the 260 Freeway accident."
Hair Clip broke down right there. Her loving and caring parents have just vanished from her life completely. She didn't even get to say good-bye.
As she was clearing things from her parents' office, she found a note. A note directed to her.
"Dear Hair Clip,
If you are currently reading this, it probably means that something terrible has happened before I could tell you this. Again, if you are reading this, I wanted to tell you this when you were older. You are adopted. This would have been better if I had said this in person, but you had to know the truth if something happened to us. When we adopted you, your birth parents left a note with you. It said that they still love you very much and hope that you have a bright future. Under their circumstances, they said that they wouldn't be able to raise you properly and wanted the best for you. As your new parents, we wanted to give you what your birth parents would have wanted. This might be all shocking to you. And I'm sorry.

She was tearing up as she read the note. Her birth parents were on her mind. Hair Clip though that she could still have people who love her still out there. And that's when she found the reality show flier. Maybe, her parents could watch her on TV. And the thought of that made her happy.
