Weeks had gone by and I had heard nothing from my mother. In fact, I totally forgot about what I was worrying about.
I was curled up on Louis on the couch. I was playing with his fingers while his free hand played with my hair. Honey was laying in the small space between mine and Louis hand.
I always enjoyed when we didn't really talk at times like these, but just laid there together. Somehow he still managed to give me butterflies in my stomach each time he twirled my hair around his finger.
Just after Louis gave me butterflies again there was a knock at the door. This a different type of knock, instead of a steady couple of knocks these were fast and sturdy.
Since I was in front of Louis, I decided that I should get up and answer the door. But he insisted that he would get it. As He approached, another group of fast and sturdy knocks were placed.
I was looking over the top of the couch, watching to see if I could see who was at the door.
"Where's my daughter," spoke my mother angrily.
I stumbled up as I was wondering why my here and how she knew where Louis lived. I head to the door where my mom quickly grabbed my wrist and started dragging me.
"Mom?" I half screamed as I dug my feet into the ground.
My mother let go of my arm and turned around, tapping her foot and crossing her arms over her chest.
"What?" She asked annoyed like I knew exactly why she was here.
"Why are you here?" I asked spreading my arms to indicate our surroundings.
"That's what I'd would like to ask you," she countered back, cocking her head slightly.
"What the heck does that mean?" I now fully yelled.
Instead of saying anything, my mother grabbed my arm again and continued to drag my towards the car. She quickly opened the door a pushed me in and closed the door.
I looked up and saw Louis making his way over towards me but I quickly shook my head, telling him to stop. And he did.
My mother drove us to her house, which was in complete silence.
She stopped the car and stepped out, making her way up to the front door. I followed shortly after.
She left the door open for me, I stepped in and shut it. Questions flowing through my head.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked.
"What do you know about your little friend, Louis? Anything?" she asked avoiding my question.
I opened my mouth to answer, but slowly closed it. I honestly didn't know much about Louis besides the fact that he is 21.
"I'm sure I know a whole lot more than you," I wittily answered.
"Oh really? I'm sure if you knew the truth you wouldn't want to stay around him."
"Why do you hate Louis? What has he done to you?"
"Oh not to me but to--"
"He's my boyfriend and I love him!" I yelled quickly covering mouth. I didn't realize until I said it that my mom knew I was dating him.

I sat at the counter in my kitchen with my head between my hands. Maybe I was wrong on doubting Kalel that he mom had seen, maybe that's why she came and got her.
I checked the time. It had been nearly an hour since she was "kidnapped" by her mom.
I wasn't the type of person to worry much, but when it came to Kalel I worried a lot.
I heard the door creak open,my head shot up. But to my disappointment it was just my friend Harry who I had called to come over to take mind off things.
"Hey bud, what do you want to do?" He asked patting my back.
When ever we were to hangout we usually smoke and drank but this time I wasn't in the mood for that. I just need someone to talk too.
Harry took a seat next to me in the next available seat. He pulled out his box of cigarettes, he offered me one but I just waved my hand to turn it down.
Harry put it in his mouth then cupped his hand around it as he lit the cigarette. He took a long drag before he opened his mouth to speak.
"So how are things going with the girl," he said as a cloud of smoke rose above his head.
"Fine, actually, great but today her mom was angry and took her away and I'm not sure why," it bothered me that he said 'the girl' instead of using her real name but I let it slide.
"Have you told her?" he said lowering his voice.
"No," I confessed," I hate keeping secrets from her."
"Not even a little? What about the games?"
"Not at all."
"When will you tell her?"
"I was hoping never but, I feel like I will soon."
"Alright," he said put his cigarette up to his mouth.
We sat in silence until a question popped into my head.
"Do you think she'll leave me if I tell her?" I asked slowly.
"I don't know dude, it's hard to say," Harry answered truthfully.
We talked about meaningless things for the rest of the time Harry stayed. By the time he left it was nearing ten o'clock and Kalel still hadn't come home.
I went up to my bathroom and got into the shower. I let the warm water fall onto my head. I ran my fingertips through my know wet hair.
When I was done drying myself, I pulled my boxers up my body and sat them just above my hips.
I stepped out of the bathroom and headed into my bedroom. I pealed back the covers and slid underneath them. I flipped on my side so my back was facing the door.
Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard the door to my room open followed my small, soft sobs.
I turned over so I could see Kalel. She had obviously been crying a lot. Her eyes were red and puffy.
I quickly got up and hurried over to her. Immediately embracing her into a hug. I could feel her warm tears laying against my bare chest.
"I...I..." she stammered.
"Shhh," I shushed her.
I walked us back until I was able to lay us down on the bed. She turned herself so her back was touching my chest. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me.
I laid my head close enough to hers so I was able to softly sing into her ear. Shortly after I could tell that she was asleep so I decide to sleep too.
