{Falling Snowflake}

“What…?” Elsa felt her heart flutter as he brought his hand up to cup her cheek, his eyes taking in her reaction.

“I have adored you from the moment you smiled and laughed so free and lighthearted…and I…” he trailed off his face blushing a bright red as he tried to maintain his words. But just saying mushy romantic things made him feel odd, he wasn’t one to express with words.

He glanced up and saw the expectation written on Elsa’s face. “And you…?”

“And I…um,” he sighed and brought his lips against her own. Jack kissed her gently afraid she would break in his hands and relished in her sweet taste.

Elsa melted into his kiss and felt her body respond to his, she loved the feeling that rushed over her skin and engulfed her in warmness. She wanted this to continue forever…but he pulled away his gaze still connected to hers. He whispered into her ear, and she smiled as his cold breath tickled her flushed skin.

“I’m not saying that again, but I hope I conveyed my feelings to you,” he was blushing as he said this.

Elsa felt her lips tug upward and she whispered breathlessly, “I love you too.”

The castle was consumed by light footsteps and the playful laughter of young children as they ventured through the grand halls, the crisp wind entering from the open windows.

“You can’t get me!” A strawberry blonde girl giggled as she ran away from the boy chasing at her heels. Her pigtails bounced against her back as she stumbled to escape the clasps of the Prince.

“Oh, no you don’t,” the boy smirked cockily as his hand stroked the air and a wave of ice formed on the floor. The girl fell due to her slipping on the glossy surface, and she tightened her lips in anger. Her cheeks were flushed from embarrassment and she refused to stand and face the cocky expression of the Prince.

“I win again, Anastasia,” the platinum gold haired boy chuckled as he gazed down at the figure of his dear cousin. He dispersed the ice from the ground and knelt down to poke Anastasia’s puffed cheek.  “What’s wrong? Why are you sulking?”

“Because…you cheated,” Anastasia looked up and met his azure gaze; she furrowed her eyebrows and glared at him. “It’s no fair you have powers,Frediano” she huffed in envy.

Frediano blinked in puzzlement and then let out a sigh; he stood up and offered his hand to her. “Look here Anastasia, I’m sorry for cheating. But it’s not as if I had the right to choose if I wanted this ability,” his lips were set in a thin line as he spoke.

Anastasia hesitated for a moment before nestling her hand in his palm, her eyes softened and she said, “I guess that’s fine…and I’m sorry for being jealous.”

“You’re forgiven,” he took out his tongue and brought her body up. Frediano smiled and Anastasia felt a tug on her heart. “Now let’s go outside, I’m bored!”

“Huh?” She gasped as he pulled on her arm and led her outside to the courtyard. Her younger brother was walking on the soft grass near her mother and father, it seemed warm…but not for long.

Prince Frediano glanced at her and grinned, “Do you want to have some fun?”

She smiled and rolled her eyes, he always seems to pull her into fun and mischievous acts. “Do you really have to ask?”

“Watch this,” he put his palms together and a white snowball formed from his skin, blue light illuminated the ball. Anastasia was transfixed as she watched with curiosity and fascination.

“Frediano what are you up to?” Elsa questioned as she emerged from the castle, her icy dress sparkled under the sun, her hair twisted up in an elegant bun.

He paused and looked toward his mother, his snowball diminished and he smiled innocently at her. “Nothing,” he replied.

Elsa walked to where he stood and cupped his cheek as she giggled, “You troublesome boy, what am I going to do with you?”

“But mom, I’m just having fun,” he mumbled as he looked down at the ground. A hand pressed against his shoulder and Frediano glanced up to meet his father’s eyes. The mysterious man smiled down at him and let out a husky chuckle that made his mother smile gently.

“And there is no limit to having fun, son,” Jack smirked as he looked at Elsa and winked.

Elsa flushed and rolled her eyes playfully, “Jack Frost, you complete fool.”

"And you love this fool," he smiled.
