A Sister!

Mommy's point of view

Once me and James were up and dressed, James got a bottle ready for Ara as I went to wake her up. When I got to her nursery door she was just waking up, I calmly walked in and headed towards her.

"Morning baby girl~"

She looked up at me half asleep and rubbed her eye, as I picked her up to place her on the changing table before removing her onsies and diaper before retrieving a pretty one that had a tutu attached and a clean diaper, before heading towards the bath, once she was all clean, I got her dressed in her new outfit and clean diaper while James packed her diaper bag and retrieved her stuffie and blanket for the car ride

Once we were ready we headed to the car and placed Ara in her car seat before putting the blanket over her and handing her the stuffie, once she was in safe and comfy I got in and James headed off to pick up Tia.

"You ready to meet your big sis?"

When Ara didn't say anything I turned around to see she had fallen asleep again, that's when me and James decided to take her to the doctors after we picked Tia up.

Tia's point of view

All through the sleepover we were all talking about how I was getting a permanent baby sister and how they were jealous. Jane's mom gave us cereal for breakfast before our parents came to get us and mine were the first, as soon as I had heard Jane's mom saying mine was here we all ran down stairs but mom stood there alone.

"She's in the car asleep at the moment"

That's when I heard crying and car doors opening, so we all went outside to see dad holding my new baby sister, everyone automatically cooed at how cute she was. As everyone was talking about her mom took my bag and put it in the boot before going to dad.

"Aww what's the matter sweetie?"

Once dad had calmed her down he placed her back in the car seat before turning to talk to mom.

"She had a nightmare"

Mom nodded her head before telling me to say goodbye and get in the car, once I had said goodbye to everyone and thank you for the sleepover I got in the car and dad drove off.

Daddy's point of view

While Anabeth was waiting for Tia I phoned the doctors to get Ara seen, which is where we were heading now. Once we reached the doctors Tia got out and grabbed the diaper bag as Anabeth grabbed Ara's car seat which was also a carrier and headed into the doctors while I locked the car.

Once inside I told them Ara's name and they told us to take a seat, after about 10 minutes they called Ara's name so we got up and headed into he doctors room.

Anabeth set the carrier down and took Ara out of it and held her in her arms sitting up.

"Okay lets get this done then you can have a colourful plaster and a lollipop"

That's when Ara started to freak out so I walked over and held her arm still as the doctor gave her the two injections and put a multi coloured plaster on and gave her and Tia a lollipop.

"One other thing doctor since we've brought her home all she's done is sleep"

The doctor stopped his writing and started looking through a folder then looked up at us.

"She's done it since she was born according to her records, so there's nothing to worry about"

I nodded my head and thanked the doctor once Ara was back in her carrier and carried her out while Anabeth took the bag and talked to Tia.

Mommy's point of view

While James was getting Ara strapped into the car I talked to Tia's who was asking alot of questions.

"So can she talk, or walk?"

I nodded my head as I put the baby bag in the boot and opened the door for Tia to get in the car.

As soon as James had handed Ara her bunny and put the blanket over her she fell asleep, me and James got in the car and headed off home.
