A brother?

Mama's  POV

For a few days now Tia had been nagging us for an older brother, she said a baby sister was great and all but she wanted an older brother too! it would be an issue with the size of our house, I sighed before filling out the desired specifications for our dream home and submitting the plan, that's one upside with our technology you buy a certain amount of land that u can expand your house on the way you like it.

Within half an hour the new house and garden was ready, it was now equipped with an upstairs where a bathroom, guest room, spare room, and Tias room were, while our room was downstairs along with Ara's nursery and a bathroom, our kitchen and living room was now double the size to accommodate extra beings.

The garden now consisted of a nice patio area along with a tree house, swing set, above ground pool and a few other toys for the kids, I went to check on Ara who was still sound asleep, I gently woke Ara up for her morning feed before making lunch for James and Tia. James had decided it would be a good idea for the girls to have an older brother as it would mean that Tia could still get attention while we're busy with Ara.

Once James had left I got Ara and Tia into the car before heading off towards Tias school, once there Tia got out and said goodbye before heading over to her friends, I drove off to our next destination, once we arrived I got Ara out of the car and headed inside where we were expected "how may I help you today madam?" I smiled softly before looking down at Ara "we'd like to create and older brother for this little one and her sister"

The lady behind the desk nodded "do you have what is required?" I held up the tube which she took "input into the computer there the desired age and characteristics of the child"  I did as she said and input what me and James had decided upon, once it was complete we were asked to go outside and wait, whilst outside I could smell Ara's diaper so I decided to change it quickly before anybody else smelt it.

After 2 hours we were finally allowed back into the room, there he stood my new son, Alex smiled softly before speaking "hello mom" I smiled as I hugged him "he's perfect!" The lady nodded her head before we headed out front to pay for the service, once we'd paid we headed out to the car "how about we go shopping for clothes and things for your room?" Alex nodded his head before getting in the front of the car before we set off.

After a long shopping trip we finally arrived home where Alex took all the shopping inside for me while I got Ara out of the car, once inside I placed her in the play pen in the living room before helping alex to his room, we painted it and placed all his belongings in there before heading back downstairs where he noticed Ara was awake and not asleep as she had been for the entire trip after I changed her.

Ara's POV

I looked up to see a strange person standing over my play pen so I started crying which made him pick me up "Hey, hey it's okay, I'm not going to hurt you, I'm your older brother Alex" that really confused me, mama and Dada had told me about Tia but not this guy, I couldn't help but continue to cry which made mama come over to us "it's okay little one, we just decided it would be nice for you and Tia to have an older brother!"

I didn't trust him, there was something strange for a guy to just suddenly appear, I was also getting hungry so mama fed me milk before changing my diaper and sitting down next to that thing! "Ara, sweetie I promise you, he's not going to hurt you, he's your older brother!" I looked over at him again and he was sitting there looking sheepish "maybe Tia will take to me a bit better" I watched him carefully as I was placed in the play pen before mama spoke "oh sugar honey ice tea! Alex watch Ara for me, I've got to go fetch Tia from school!"

Great! I was now stuck alone with this thing! He kept looking at me before standing up with a sigh and wandering off, that's when he came back with a rattle? Alex sat down in front of the play pen and started shaking the rattle which confused me "not a fan of the rattle huh? I know how about we play with a ball, that'll be fun, huh?" He then got up and wandered off again before returning with a ball and that annoying cushion.

He placed the cushion down before lifting me out of the play pen and placed me in the cushion, once he made sure I wasn't going to escape he sat down before rolling the ball to me, I looked at it for a minute before deciding to roll it back, maybe he isn't as bad as I thought. This went on until Mama got home with Tia who practically screamed with excitement before tackling Alex "I got a brother!!!!" Alex chuckled before patting Tias head which kinda made me jealous but why?

A/N Alex is 20 is nearly 6ft (in alien feet) has short black hair and blue eyes, he was programmed to be kind, fun and loving, to protect his sisters. he had been programmed with great knowledge and agility in order to succeed in caring for his siblings.
