WWBT Chapter Nine

"Well, if you think so. But, I guess it's a confession."

Yoona's heart really beat hard. 'Calm yourself down, Yoona!' she said to herself. 'Okay, now I should... What should I do?!'

"Okay. I'll think about it", she said, forcing a smile and an awkward laugh. "So, Oppa, you said that you moved here to have a vacation, right?"

'Great, Yoong! Change the topic!' Yoona yelled in her head.

Luhan nodded. "Yeah, why?"

Yoona munched her spaghetti before asking, "Is it fine for you to spend your vacation for... taking care of a sick people... like me?"

Luhan raised his head in a blink of an eye. Yoona automatically hung her had low and said, "I mean, vacation should be a happy moment to play and enjoy your freedom from all your usual work, right? You should've done that instead of doing this."

"Well, taking care of you is not a burden. Instead, I love to do that."

Yoona only nodded and then they ate without any sound.

"So..." Yoona broke the silence. "Do you have any girlfriend? Or ex-girlfriend?"

Luhan choked, he hit his chest a couple of times while Yoona handed a glass of water to Luhan in panic, "Aigo, Oppa! Here, drink some."

Luhan drank the water and cough a bit. He calmed himself down before saying, "Thanks."

Yoona smiled and nodded. "Never mind", she said as she wagged her hand. "So, you haven't answered my question yet."

Luhan frowned.

Yoona gulped. She had to hold herself from screaming. 'He's really cute when he frowned like that!'

"I just wanted to know. You know my ex and my problem with that ex. But I don't know yours. For me it's kind of unfair."

Luhan stared at Yoona. Yoona felt kind of nervous. It's like she was being judged or something.

Luhan sighed. "Well, there is a best friend of mine. I liked her, maybe loved, I don't know it myself."

Yoona nodded. She could feel her heart ached as if it was torn to pieces. "You said you liked her, didn't you? Do you still like her?"

Luhan stared at his food and sighed once more. "I... don't know."

"Did she know how you feel about her?"

"No."

They both silenced.

"She chose my friend over me."

Yoona raised her head and looked at Luhan. 'She chose his friend over Luhan? What was she thinking about? Is Luhan not good enough?' Yoona grumbled in her head.

"She'll be married in two months."

"Oh!" Yoona gasped in shock.

They both silenced again.

"Like what you said to me earlier, Oppa, you deserve better."

Luhan only nodded and smiled bitterly. "Thanks."

"Mm, may I know her name, Oppa?"

"Seohyun", Luhan answered. His eyes stared blankly to a flower pot. "I liked the way she say my name and she always wears the gold watch with a large 'seohan' word on it."

Yoona tried hard not to scream in unhappiness and jealousy.

"Lulu", Luhan mumbled. "She always calls me 'Lulu' even when I told her that 'Lulu' is too girly for a macho guy like me. Don't you think so?"
