I sighed from my seat in the host club. My eyes rose to examine the new boy; or girl, as I had figured out. I stood up as Tamaki called her over to him. I chuckled as she began talking to 'Princess' Ainikogi, or the devil incarnated as I called her. I'm not sure why, I've always just held a small grudge against her. I stood up and walked over and stood next to Kyoya. "You must have figured it out by now right?" I asked and he glanced down at me his midnight black hair falling in front of his glasses.

"What? That the honor student is a female? Yes I have."

I nodded. "I'm not surprised. You reasoning skills are quite good."

He nodded. "Yes well, I should hope so. But shouldn't you be preparing for the party tonight?"

I gasped. "Crap! I have food in the oven!" I ran out of the room towards the kitchen throwing my apron on over my dress. As the host clubs cook and Assistant I had certain duties to uphold, most of which took my full attention... Which was difficult with my scatterbrain.

I pulled a large cookie sheet setting it down on the counter and opening the oven. I slid an oven mitt on and pulled the light brown chocolate chip cookies out sliding them onto the cookie tray and setting them over by the sink to cool.

I pulled open the fridge and grabbed some ingredients for a cake. I melted the butter pouring it evenly into the flour. I poured the batter into the four cake pans and put them into the oven. Finally I removed the oven mitt and apron and left the kitchen in search of the piano I always longed to play.

My long fingers spread over the keys as I placed them into position. My index finger led my other fingers into a trail of soft touches on the keys. The music spread out around me filling the entire room with Chopin. I concentrated as my fingers flew over the keys. Tiny beads of sweat formed on my inner eyebrow as the song finished up. I looked up to see Tamaki standing behind me, holding the ramen I had left out for him. "I forget how good you are sometimes." He laughed and motioned for me to follow him to the other hosts.

"Y/n! Come over here!" Kyoya motioned for me to stand at his side. I stepped up beside him and looked into his eye.

"Yes Kyoya?" I asked, a smile playing across my lips.

"Help Haruhi with her dancing please." he said plastering a copycat smile on his own face.

I nodded and Haruhi followed me to a door leading into a small dance room. I demonstrated the movements and then helped her with her form. I heard the door to the club open and saw Tamaki open the door.

"Y/n You can take a break now. This young lady will help her now." He ushered us out frowning and retreating back to his corner slurping up the rest of the ramen.

I sighed and walked into the kitchen to take the cake out. As I frosted the large cake I heard a voice from behind. "Y/n. We're having physical exams tomorrow. Make sure that you're ready." I nodded without turning around.

"Okay. Thanks Kyoya." I could hear him leaving the room. I put the final touches on the cake with the buttercream. I stood back to admire my work.

"Wow! Y/n-chan! That cake looks delicious!" Hani clambered to my side and peeked over the countertop.

"Thanks Hani. It's for the party tonight! Do you think it needs anything else?" I turned to the boy who was eating the remnants of the tops I cut off.

"NO! It's so pretty! It doesn't need anything else!" He hugged me and I smiled setting it next to the cookies I had made earlier.

Tamaki watched as y/n walked out of the kitchen holding usa-Chan and chatting with hani. He grinned and waved her over. He watched as she whispered to Hani and Hani scampered over to Mori, usa-chan in hand. Y/n walked up to him smiling.
