FATE---------------
"Oh! I have another one!"
Ji sighed, "Oh brother..."
You giggled, "Why doesn't Dracula have any friends?"
"...Why?"
You smiled, "Because he's a pain in the neck!"
You had to stop walking, you were laughing so hard. You grabbed onto Ji's arm, trying not to fall on the floor while she shook her head at you.
"I'm so done with you."
You hugged her arm, "Oh, you love me!"
She smiled, shaking her head. You both had gotten up early to take a small walk around a nearby park. It was nice out, which was surprising because it was summer time. You would expect it to be humid, being in Korea and all, but it wasn't bad.
You smirked, giving Ji a look.
Her eyes widened, "Oh no..."
You chuckled, locking arms with her so she couldn't get away, "What do you call a nosy pepper?"
She shook her head as you continued, "...Jalapeño business!"
You laughed again, clapping like a dumb seal. You heard someone stifle their laugh. You turned around to find a guy with purple hair covering his mouth, his red head friend asking if he was okay.
You took a couple steps back, "I should have warned you, my jokes are so funny they're life threatening."
They stood up straight, looking at you.
Ji smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry for her..."
The purple haired guy smiled, "Oh, I know how bad they can be. You have no idea. My friend here seems to be an endless pit of dad jokes."
Your eyes widened, just now realizing something, "You speak English!"
He chuckled, "Yeah, just a bit."
You turned to look at his friend, squinting your eyes, "Uh, Jin?"
The red head looked up, "Oh! 나는 너를 기억한다!" (I remember you!)
You sighed in relief, you understood what he said. At least this Korea trip wasn't all for fun, you're Korean was getting better.
You pointed to his hair, "너...너 머리 염색 했어!" (You...You dyed your hair!)
Your accent was a bit off, but your pronunciation was alright.
Jin laughed, nodding his head.
His friend looked between you, Ji giving you a questioning look as well.
You snapped your fingers, "Oh! We met at a coffee shop few days ago. Ji, remember when I forgot your muffin?"
She nodded, a look of realization crossing her face, "Oh yeah! I was sooo hungry!"
The purple haired guy still looked a bit confused, so Jin took the hint and filled him in, "남쥬 언, 커피 숍에 있던 여자에 대해서 말했지?" (Namjoon...girl...coffee...yes?)
'Oh, his name is Namjoon then,' you realized.
Namjoon stuck his hand out for you to shake, "It's nice to meet you, coffee shop girl."
You laughed, "(Y/N) is fine. It's nice to meet you too. It's refreshing to meet an English speaker."
He smiled, nodding a little.
You turned to Jin, "So...왜 색깔의 변화?" (Why the change of color?)
He smiled, unconsciously running a hand through his hair, "내 밴드가 방금 뮤직 비디오 촬영을 시작했습니다. 주제에 맞게 변경했습니다." (...band...music video...changed...theme.)
You nodded, "너 밴드에있어?" (You're in a band?)
He nodded, "Yes, uh...we BTS. Gud moosic, uh dance too. Much fun."
You laughed, giving him a grin, "그래서 우리는 다시 만난다. 아주 재밌 네요, 그렇죠?" (So we meet again. It's quite funny, isn't it?)
He sent you a charming smile, "It must be fate."
You stifled a laugh, turning back to face Jin as he continued, "운명은 우리가 전화 번호를 교환하기를 원해야합니다." (Fate...want...us...numbers)
You didn't catch all of what he said, so Ji leaned in and whispered in your ear, "He wants to exchange numbers."
She laughed at the look on your face, sharing a knowing glance with Namjoon.
You nodded bashfully, "Uh, s-sure."
You handed him your phone, watching as he entered his number.
Once he returned it to you, you sent him a little text.
You: Hey, it's (Y/N) :P
He smiled as he read the text, opening his mouth to say something when Namjoon's phone rang.
He picked it up, "Hello?......Uhuh...What?...우리가 곧 올거야." (We'll be right there.)
He looked at you and Ji, "Sorry, we have to go. Taehyung-ah got his hand stuck in the vase again."
The last sentence was more to himself than either of you, so you didn't question it.
You waved at them both, "Oh, that's okay. Bye!"
Ji smiled, "만나서 반가 웠습니다! 안녕!" (It was nice meeting you! Bye!)
The guys waved before jogging away, probably to help this Taehyung character.
Ji smirked at you, "Wow, (Y/N). Already got some digits~"
She nudged you, causing you to blush, "Oh, shut up."
A/N: I'M NOT DEAD I SWEAR
I started this chapter over at least three times so I hope this one will do. It felt kinda awkward having Namjoon and Ji just stand there, but let's just assume they were having their own conversation.
Um, let's see...I wanted to address something...
Oh yeah! I'm not going to type in any mispronunciations when the reader's speaking Korean because I'm still not comfortable reading it so maybe later~
