You were sitting on the small couch in your living room, eating a bowl of your favorite cereal as you watched whatever came on TV.

Ji left the room a few minutes ago when she got a call from an her mother, but she looked troubled. You decided to leave her alone until she got back.

You smiled as another 'Law & Order' started up.

You set your bowl on the small table in front of you once you finished, too lazy to wash it at the moment.

Ji walked back in with a frown a few minutes later, her eyes glossed over.

You paused the show and got up, "What happened?"

She sniffed, "Uh, my grandma's in the hospital and she won't be discharged for a few weeks."

You hugged her shoulder, "Why is she in the hospital? Is she going to be alright?"

Ji shrugged, "I don't know, my aunt said that she fell and the doctors found something—I don't know."

You sighed, "I'm so sorry."

She smiled, "I'll be okay....but my mom wants me to go to Korea with her."

You paused, "W-What? When are you leaving?"

She sniffed again, "Next week. On Tuesday."

You frowned, rubbing her arm in sympathy, too shocked to say anything.
