"Another!" Mileena got up for the 30th time, being beaten by me again. Her pride was definitely a huge one, bigger than anything I've seen in people, and even beasts. She wouldn't stop until she had defeated me, and I haven't even revealed my name yet. Gods...despite me winning, it doesn't mean she made it easy.

Lose or not, the fight itself was never dull. That Tarkatan blood made sure of it.

"No...I think you already are a good warrior, Mileena, just that like I have said before, it takes more than physical strength," I stopped a punch, and pushed her a little. "I think the mental and spiritual side needs improvement if you want to use that amulet effectively,"

"Fine...but only if this isn't another defeat,"

"Uh...well, it has nothing to do with violence...so, I doubt it," I lightly chuckled, gaining a hiss from her. I knew she could kill me at her leisure, but...she didn't. Mostly because of the Teddy from earlier.

We made it to a small waterfall, and koi pond, one that came from years of debris, and ruins shaping it into a natural pool for the living that gathered amongst themselves. Well, I assume so, otherwise, Outworld put it there themselves, and that idea of a gardening Outworlder is ridiculous.

I sat down, cross-legged, and looked up at an annoyed Mileena glaring at me, expecting something more than me on my rear.

"What are you doing?"

"What I mentioned, it's called meditating. Just sit like me," She seemed a little wary, but got into the same position as me. "Good,"

"Now...what else?"

"Well, you just simply close your eyes, and-"

"Are you sure this isn't just sleeping? It sure has something to do with that!" Gods, the impatience she had.

"Just stick to what I'm saying, Mileena. Trust breathe and slow it down...and just focus on yourself,"

"How?"

"Well, it is more technical on how to define that...basically, it's supposed to be calming, allowing yourself to remain idle-"

"This is it idiotic!"

"Gods...you really need to learn how to calm yourself," I shook my head, a little defeated. "Exactly the same attitude that got you in your scenario,"

"How dare you! Your lucky I even allow you to breathe let alone verbally berate me," She snapped, getting up from what I heard. I knew she was contemplating killing me on the spot. After all, I am 'vulnerable' in this position. Yeah, right...

After a few minutes, I could hear her sit back down, slightly over it, and begrudgingly letting the lesson take over. It had literally been a minute before she whined again.

"Augh! This is a waste of time! I don't need this pointless 'mediatation'...I already have an advantage," Mileena stormed off, clearly done with that short fuse. It made me slightly amused at how this one was the 'Mad Empress', so many call her these days. She was basically a child...a man-child? No, more of a woman-child.

But...still, she had a dangerous air to her, as from the multiple sparring sessions had proven. She clearly was a warrior amongst us, if only a little temperamental. Perhaps if she had mellowed out since her creation, she could've been a fine leader. But, then again, I'd probably attempt to kill her. I could now, but...she isn't Shao Khan. They both might be ruthless killing machines, but one of them I could easily handle like a babysitter, and the other...dead by his weapon implanted on my skull.
