"I don't think you a monster," Dax told him. "Well, you don't know half of what I have done." Vlad told him. "I know that you fought to keep your people safe and free. To me that makes you a Salvator, not a Monster." Dax told him. "But I did my fair share of bad deeds as well. I killed someone's father, son, brother. I know of what was going on in my camps and I didn't put a stop to it. I have blood on my hands that will never come clean.

This is why I'm damn to walk the earth as a monstru. This is the way the Devil is making pay for my sins. He damn me to a life of blood lust, just as I was when I was alive and just how it should be once I gone." Vlad told him. "If your so much of a monster then why did you fight so hard to keep you people safe?" Dax asked him.

Vlad looked away from him on that one. The only true reason why he did it, is dead now. "De ce te lupți?" Teo asked him. "Pentru a vă menține în siguranță," Vlad told him. " Dar oamenii tăi, oamenii noștri." Asked him. " Ei au familii, cei dragi." He said. Even to this day can't answer that.

Vlad stood. "I was asked that once before. I didn't have an answer then and I still don't have an answer now." He said then walked away. 'Why did he do the things he did?' He thought to himself. Maybe where his father gave his younger brother Radu and him up to save himself and he didn't want others to have to feel that betray, and if he didn't fight for his people then he would be just like his father. He would have betrayed those who look at him for help, and guides.

Vlad walked back to the bedroom. Not long after Dax was behind him. "Is there anyone else alive from when you ruled?" Dax asked him, as he made himself comfortable on the bed after taking his shoes off. "No just me," Vlad told him as he looked out the window. "Did you have a lover or were those just rumors started to make you look like a bad person?" Dax asked. Without looking he answer him. "Yes, his name was Teo. He was the most beautiful, kind-hearted man I have laid eyes on. You remember me of him in away. You also look just like him." Vlad told him.

Dax just looked at the man who everyone called a Monster, the only thing he saw was a man who was lost and broken. A man who just wants to be left alone and live out his eternality in peace. He doesn't see the Monster that people talked about. Dax laid there a little longer until he felt his eyes go heavy.

Vlad watched as Dax fall asleep. Just as he did with Teo. They both look at peace like nothing bad is happing or will ever happen. But once they wake they see the world for what it is, the Devils Playground and the people are ponds in his and God's game.

Soon Vlad drains himself. He knows its not a leak of blood, maybe he lays down for a bit he would feel better. He lay beside Dax, making sure not to wake him or to touch him. Once he was laying he turns his back to him.

Sometime in the middle of sleeping Dax ends up laying on Vlad's chest. Dax woke and looked around and remembering all that has happened. He looked up at the man he was laying on. 'Teo was lucky to have Vlad as a lover' Dax thought and laid back down.

Vlad was awake but didn't open his eye, he wanted to see what Dax would do when he saw that he was laying on him. When Dax laid back down Vlad opened his eyes and looked down at the young man. A smile came across his lips. The first time he smiles since Teo.

He looked over at the window, the storm was still blowing. Little did anyone know a different storm was coming, one that could change the course of history as we know it.
