There stood John close to the castle. " Dă-ne cheia și vom merge. (Give us the key and we will go.)" John yelled up at the window. " Nu vă vom da niciodată Dax. (We will never give you Dax.)" Vlad yelled back at him.

"Come on Vlad all you have to do is give us what we want and everyone can live happily ever after," Jusztina said. "We will not give you Dax. Why don't you just leave? Besides its almost time for the full moon." Cneajina said. "Why? Cause we get to come back and rule what was once ours." Jusztina said as she hugged up to John. "Times have changed Jusztina. They have new rules or what they call laws now. And if you do not follow them they put you in prison. To which we all know you won't make it." Vlad told her.

"We can take back what's ours," Jusztina yelled. "And be killed for it." Vlad II said. "Like my son said time changed. We are nothing more now. Only stories in the history books. So just go live out what time you have." Vlad II finish saying. "We will take back what ours. All we need to do is kill the key. So hand him over and save everyone time." John said.

"Nu vă vom da niciodată. (We will never give him to you.)" Vlad said. "Have it your way," John said. The ones behind them stepped close to them and made their way to the castle. "We are outnumbered," Dax said. A chill came through the air. "The troops made it just in time," Bogda said. Before Dax could ask what troops. Hundreds upon hundreds of people appeared.

"Now we are ready for the war," Bogda said. "Teo, Stefan you can drop the spell now. Let show them what we are made of. Dax go back to the room. The spell will stay for it. You will be safe until this is all over with. Teo already stocked it. You should have everything that you need and more." Vlad II said.

Dax made it to the room and close the door behind him. He made his way to the window to see if he watch them fight. He couldn't see anything but he can hear them coming. He sat on the bed thinking of taking a nap or something when he heard the door to the castle slam open.

The sound of swords could be heard. The sound of men and women screams could be heard from down the hall and now outside his room. "We looked in every room where could the key be?" Dax heard a guy say. "We haven't looked in this room yet." Another guy said.

The door opens and there stood two guys from Johns's side. "Look what we have here. They did a piss poor job of hiding you." The taller men of the two said. "Do you think we can have a little fun with it before giving him to John?" The shorter one asked. "I don't see why not. John going to kill him anyway." The tall one said.

Dax knows he safe in the room. But listening to those to talk and knowing what they mean made Dax feel sick to his stomach. They two men walked to the door. Once they got close to the doorway they let out a scream and was burnt to a crisp. Teo had changed the spell for the room too if someone who's a foul will be killed on the spot.

Dax hurry to close the door back up. He sat on the floor by the window this time. There were people was fighting everywhere. Blood soaking the ground, like rain falling from the sky.

Dead bodies lying everywhere. Some dead and some still somewhat alive. Dax couldn't tell any more who's on what side. If they are winning or losing. Most of all he didn't know if Vlad alright or not.

He was so deep in his thoughts he didn't hear the door open and close, not until he saw Calin in his lap with tear-filled eyes. "What the matter buddy?" Dax asked him. "Why can't they just leave you alone and let my daddy be happy?" Calin asked. Dax had to think of a way for him to understand.

"Power and greed make you do evil things," Dax told him. "Why can't everyone just be happy with what they have?" Calin asked. "I don't know buddy I don't know," Dax told him. Dax holds on to Calin as there was scream and yelling happing around them.

Dax put Calin in the bed. Dax crawled beside him and pulled him to him. Dax may not aloud to be part of the war, but he's going to make damn sure nothing happens to Calin.
