The next morning when Dax woke he felt warm. When he opened his eyes, he saw why. He lay on Vlad. Vlad was flat on his back with one arm around Dax's waist. He looked up and seen Vlad was still asleep.

Then last night came back to him. The shadow man choking and yelling at him. He couldn't understand what the shadow was yelling tho. Slow getting up Dax tries to move Vlad's arm without waking him but didn't succeed.

Vlad work up the moment Dax moved. "Are you all right?" Was the first thing Vlad asked Dax. "Yeah, just my throat hurts a little," Dax said. "How much do you remember from last night?" Vlad asked. "I remember you going out and I went to bed after I watch you go into the woods from the window. Then I felt a cold chill I pulled the covers up on me farther but that didn't seem to work. The next thing I know a shadow was standing over me yell 'Cheia, trebuie să mori' What does that mean?" Dax asked.

Vlad looked at him then at his hands then back at Dax. "It's you're the key, you must die," Vlad told him. "The key to what?' Dax asked. "I guess the war that's coming. That's all I got from that thing. It keeps saying something about a war coming." Vlad told him. "What war?" Dax asked him. Vlad turns and looked out the window.

"What war Vlad?" Dax asked again. "I'm not sure but when I made a vow to come back the devil told me something before he sent me back to the world," Vlad told him. "Like what?" Dax asked. "That I won't be the only one to come back. Something about a key, which he didn't say too much about and stuff about books. That's it." Vlad told him as he got out of bed and head to the window to look out of it.

"Maybe the books are in the study," Dax said as he sat on the edge of the bed. "Their not, that was the first place I looked when I can back." Vlad. "Is there any other place that there will be books?" Dax said.

Vlad continues to look out the window. Dax didn't need Vlad to answer. "They are in Teo room," Dax said. "Yes, he said they were passed down in his family and he was the lasted of his family. He never would let me look at them. He always told me that there will be a time for me to look. When I ask him when would be he always told me I would know the right time." Vlad told him.

"I take it this is the right time?" Dax asked. Vlad nodded. "I can go with you. After all, I'm part of this somehow." Dax told him. Vlad looked out the window one last time before heading to where Dax was sitting on the bed.

Vlad took Dax's face in his hands and kissed his forehead and walked out of the room. Dax got up and followed him. Once to the door Vlad stood there looking at the door. "If you want I can go in and you can stay out here if it still hard to go in there," Dax told him. "No, its time," Vlad said.

He opens the door. Cobwebs took over the room along with dust, other than that everything is still in the same place. The bed made up ready to be slept in, Teo books still on the shelves ready to be read. Vlad took a deep breath and stepped in.

Dax stood outside, he watched as Vlad looked around and touching things. He can tell but the look on his face that he wishes he never had to come to this room. After all, this is the last place he saw his lover and the same place he took his life so he didn't have to deal with the loss of his soulmate.

After looking around the room Vlad turns and looked at Dax who stood out giving him time. "You may come in," Vlad told him. Dax steeped. "You mind if I clean some of the dust and webs before we started. I don't think Teo would want the books to leave this room." Dax asked.

Vlad nodded. "How did you know Teo wouldn't want the books to leave this room?" Vlad asked as he watched Dax clean. "I don't know I just got a feeling. I feel different since I stepped into this room like I know what Teo would want and not want. Does that make sense?" Dax said.

"Maybe it has something to do with being the key. But it does make sense in away." Vlad told him. Vlad didn't want Dax to feel like he's going crazy when he may not be.

Soon Dax had the room clean. Vlad grabbed the books Teo told him about and sat on the bed. Dax sat beside him. "I may not be much help, all of these books are in Romanian and I only know a little," Dax told him. "That's fine, take notes of what I tell you," Vlad told him. Vlad handed Dax a notepad and pen.

Dax handed him one of the books. Vlad looked over it. It was just a book about spells. "Why does Teo have a book of Spells?' Dax asked. "I don't know as far as I know he never did magic or spells," Vlad told him. Dax looked thought some papers while Vlad looked thought another book. "I think I find something," Dax said as he handed Vlad the paper. "The only words I got where War, Key, and Prophecy," Dax told him. Vlad looked at it.

"It says: 'When making a Vow during a war will open a Prophecy and with every Prophecy, there's a Key. The Key could be a Person, Place or Thing. For the Prophecy to fully take place the Key must be Killed or Destroy in somewhy. Those who were there during the Vow will come back but not fully. They will be the ones they will try and Kill and/or Destroy the key so they can come back to their full Power.

If the Key can not be Kill and/or Destroy before the next Full Moon then the Prophecy itself will be Destroy with all those who come with it. If the person who made the Vow on their last breath will not be infected by this for they are dealing with the Consequence of making the Vow. They are to walked to Earth as an immortal, to never die again.'" Vlad read.

"We have until the next Full Moon which is?" Dax asked. "Three months," Vlad said. He looked at the paper some more. "It says here: Sign that the Prophecy is coming is the change in weather and the one who's curse will feel hunger like they never felt before.'" Vlad readed. "The sign where there the whole time and we didn't know," Dax said.

Vlad nodded. "Yes, they have. But why would the Prophecy start now? Why not years ago?" Vlad asked himself out loud. "Maybe we should take a break we been at this for five hours. We'll come back later with fresh eyes." Dax said.

They both head to the kitchen for something to eat. Dax finds a bag of chips and Vlad had a jar of blood. They sat there not saying a word. The one thing that played in both of their heads was the shadow person.

Vlad jumped from his seat and made it back to the room. Dax not far from behind him. Vlad looked thought the papers on the floor. "I find the answer," Vlad said as he held up the paper.
