You shrieked and stumbled back, racing away from the roaring army surging forward. Hiccup scrambled onto "Toothless's" back and leaped into the sky. You kept stepping back, unsure of how to get on (d/n)'s back. How did you do it before? You had been lying down, right? Were you holding on to something specific or were you just wrapping your arms around her neck?

(d/n) snorted and wrapped you gently in her right foot. You vaguely noticed with interest that the Skrill's foreclaws were basically attached to her wings; her wings were also her hands. All thought left you as she spiraled into the sky, following the dragon riders. "We really need to stop doing this!" you yelled above the whistling wind. (d/n) made a sound that you could feel rumble through her claws. You shuddered in awe. Dragons really were magnificent.

As you cleared the firing range for the enemy camp's nets, you blinked heavily, fighting the wind in your eyes and the lack of oxygen. The figures of Hiccup and the dragon riders were specks on the horizon, which worried you. You had no idea where you were, if you were still even in the Archipelago, or how to get back.

(d/n) seemed to sense your agitation and tightened her grip on you. You tensed, still slightly unsure of your trust in this dragon, and when she flew upward at a heart-rattling speed, you almost tried to flail out of her grip. You nearly passed out from the height and lack of air, but then (d/n) stopped rising, stopped moving, stopped your heart, folded her wings and shot downwards in the direction of the dragon riders.

You couldn't even scream, the G-Force pressed down on your throat, choking any sound you could have made. You were still safely clutched in (d/n)'s grip, so falling wasn't a danger, but imagine jetpacking so high that ice started forming on your hair and then shooting back down just as fast with the rocket boosters helping you go faster. yeah. Not such a picnic.

Hiccup and his friends were getting closer by the second, but you could see black tinging your vision. You clawed at your throat, trying to breathe, but the speed was basically choking you and you couldn't even get (d/n) to slow down.

Just as suddenly as it had started, (d/n) pulled up in a hasty loop-the-loop and backwinged, tossing you onto her back and stopping short just as you nearly crashed into the Deadly Nadder. You gasped and vomited over your shoulder, regaining your breath and trying not to hyperventilate. You felt a hand smack the place in between your shoulderblades. You coughed up a little more. "Easy there, don't vomit up a lung..." A female voice muttered in your ear. You forced yourself not to jump, spat to get the taste out of your mouth, and turned around to thank the girl. "Hey, I-"

You jerked back and gasped. It was the girl from the boat who got you thrown off in the first place. You scooted back into the first spine on (d/n)'s back, pressing yourself into it as if you could get away. The girl's mouth fell open but was cut short as (d/n), sensing the hate going through the air, banked to the left and went to fly next to Hiccup and Toothless. You glanced back and saw the death glare boring into your eyes. You shuddered, and turned to Hiccup.
