Chapter 36:Irish Confessions.

Nora's POV

"Ron!" I screamed for the thousandth time. "Put me fucking down, now!" My fists slammed against his masculine muscular back just like they had been from the last few minutes.

Apparently, I had to be taken back to my so called 'soulmate' and Ron was taking me back, vampire speed! My head was slightly dizzy but I was recovering because now he had stopped.

"We're here" he said joyfully, putting me down. I slightly stumbled but he got me just in time and clasped his large pale hand on my forearm.

"Let go" I demanded.

He smirked. "My lady, I am over a five hundred years old, I am not stupid. I know you and I know that the moment my grip loosens you will run away" he tightened his grip but did it hurt me.

I huffed in annoyance. "But I don't wanna go" I whined but he shook his head, dragging me towards the stairs of the gorgeous palace.

"Lady" a man, who was standing just out the door said. He looked like a..... Guard?

"You are back" the other one -who was dressed in the same clothes as the other one- said and smiled broad.

"Ummm......." I looked at Ron who shook his head and smiled.

"Not now Chris, we have a little problems" he said and the guard, Chris, nodded and opened the door.

With each step I took, my heart rate increased. A lump formed in my throat and I swallowed nervously, looking at my surroundings. The palace was not as creepy as I thought. Well, the stories Niall told me led me to believe that the palace looked like more of a graveyard than a big beautiful place, with skulls, bones, flesh, blood, graves and mounds.

But I was proven dead wrong.

My heart was hammering against my ribcage and I feared it tearing the flesh above and falling out.

"Nora?" A husky deep voice came and I looked at my right to see a tall, brunette curly haired guy. His hair were up in a messy quiff. He had a little dot on his nose and his features were nice. He was handsome and looked about eighteen, maybe?

"God you're back" he whispered and I recognised the accent to be Australian.

His chest was slammed against mine in a second as he cupped my little body -compared to his- in a hug.

"Um" I looked at Ron.

"Luke there are a few complications mate" Ron explained and the guy, Luke, pulled back.

For some weird reason I knew that he wasn't my soulmate. Yes, he hugged me the moment he saw me but he just wasn't him.

"Lets get you to Klaus" Luke pulled me and I froze in place.

Klaus. This name was my worst nightmare. Niall had told me about this man's past. His history of killing people coldly, compelling girls to sleep with him against their will and then he feeding on them. He even did it with Niall's sister Sydney, that's why he despised him. He did the same with Sophia, yes, he could not compel her but she was led to believe that Klaus loved her and she rebelled against her race, her people, for a man who dumped her on the streets when he had enough.

"No" I tried to struggle out Luke's grip as he dragged me through large hallways.

"Don't be stupid," Luke smiled. "He is your soulmate he has been through hell without you."

I froze, the little walking I was doing was stopped. I was being dragged now.

He could not be my soulmate. A man so cold and monstrous could never be my soulmate. Not in any life.
