Klaus's POV

I wake up and inhale the scent I've been inhaling the whole night.

The one and only scent that can light my day up.

The heavenly scent of my darling Nora.

She is locked in my arms. Our faces are only inches apart, her closed eyes and that soft line between her pink full lips make her look so innocent. Her beauty makes her look like an angel.

And she is an angel.

My angel.

I push a strand of her hair away from her beautiful face.

Hell, what did I do to have an angel like her in my life.

How can a devil like me have an angel like her.

At least she is giving me a chance.

Maybe giving Annabelle her freedom and lying about Kol having a mate was not as bad as I thought.

Her eyes flutter open as her beautiful sky blue crystal clear eyes come into view.

‘‘Quit stalking’’she playfully swats my arm.

I love her raspy morning voice.

‘‘Stalking?what is wrong with your grammar its called staring’’I correct the angel that is my Nora.

‘‘Same to me, because my mate for some reason I know is a great stalker’’she locks her arms around my neck.

‘‘How is that so?’’my hands slip from her arms to her hips.

‘‘I caught you staring at me multiple times and you're like everywhere I go and that's what happened when me and Kol ran oh……’’she trails off as guilt and embarrassment flashes in her eyes.

I don't know what to say either.

‘‘I am so sorry’’tears form in her eyes.

‘‘Hey its okay don't cry okay’’my right hand quickly finds her right cheek where one tear has been spilled.

‘‘I am a fucking dick no a whore I am a fucking bit-’’not wanting and letting her to finish the sentence I crash my lips on hers.

She lets me kiss her for the second time in my life.

With her own will.

My tongue enters her mouth and her tongue works with mine. Excepting every move I make.

I can't help but massage her soft tongue.

I never thought the tongue which produces so many bad,abusive,inappropriate and hurtful words would be so soft.

I pull back and she pants for air smiling her beautiful smile as her blue eyes glow.

She pecks my left cheek, gets up and disappears.

Nora's POV

I come in my room and close the door not wanting to leave Klaus's warm and tight yet comfortable embrace.

I go in the bathroom and take a hot shower.

I don't feel exhausted or tired like I did every day since I got here, I feel like I had the familiar good nights sleep I had before all of this.

‘‘Annab-’’I stop myself remembering she is not here anymore.

I don't know why but I smile to myself.
